Movie Posters of the Week
It’s been an emotional week. I wanted to share this encounter I had with a very hateful man on the Pittsburgh bus because it reminds me that there are brave people in this world. Let’s all do everything we can to stand up for each other.
There are obviously lots of reasons to reblog this, but one of them is that this cartooning is BEAUTIFUL
Found at The Guardian:

I scheduled this in July and probably have no regrets.
This is probably the best thing I’ve ever made.
Did you know Marvel gave Ireland its very own superhero team in the 90s?
They were called the Kinsmen, and included a sentient bog, an actual leprechaun, “the cruellest bouncer in Dublin”, and a water nymph named Dyke. Sufficient to say, they were utter garbage. I wanted to try and redesign them, but gave up the ghost on that one pretty quickly and instead dug deep into the back issues for a new team of six pre-existing Irish superheroes.
So, because nobody asked for it, pages 1-3 of my never ending Kinsman epic. Starring: Ireland’s answer to Captain America - SHAMROCK! That guy from two dozen issues of Excalibur - FERON! And, because how could you not, the cruellest bouncer in Dublin himself- RAPSCALLION!
Whenever I feel ashamed of mistakes I’ve made, I just remember Oscar Issac was the villain in Sucker Punch and things worked out OK for him.
After Stranger Things everything makes sense.
Well that’s Halloween sorted.
Just covered my laptop camera with a bit of a post-it, because the Chinese hackers are obviously as interested in what I’m up to as they are with Zuckerberg.
The most important.
This page and the ones that preceded it are so beautiful.
I've been trying to figure out how to paint over the last few months with varying levels of success, but I'm pretty happy with how this is shaping up. Obviously it's of Big Barda because I'm a creature of habit. I want to try and get a Klimt effect on her armour so I'm going to buy some gold paint tomorrow and see what happens. If nothing else the fumes will make me think it's good.
