Okay~I know I haven't posted anything in the longest time but I'm actually working really hard on a deck of cards of now-relevant rappers. Andddd I'm finally happy with the Queen Nicki's composition... only about 5 poses later but ugh I'm here.

A self-portrait inspired by Karoline Pietrowski's self-portrait. It was so cute I had to give it a shot.

I am so in love with all the gouache paintings, so I might be painting a little more in this style.

Portrait Studies Part 2 --  WIP progession; Its basically taken me over 10 hours to get this far, but thats okay I'd rather do it right the first time around. The first time I made macarons I failed twice and both times took me about 6 hours. I wasn't proud of those results but I'm pretty proud of these, I can't wait until it's finished!

So I saw Big Hero 6 last night and omg it was incredible, I’m kinda obsessed now, and now I not so patiently await for them to make a life size plush of Baymax. I NEED IT. TAKE MY MONEY.

Since I'm running on Mac and I can't use SAI anymore ;-; now I wanted to do a program comparison. They all range from free - taking a 2nd mortgage on my house.

These are all what these programs define as "pencil." Some spheres make look weird since they had no pressure sensitivity or no way to alter it. All in all they each have there pro's and there cons and hopefully this helps :3

So I'm basically downloading every painting program known to OSX to find something I love as equally as much as I loved SAI.

Sketch Book, Fire Alpaca, Art Rage, Krita, MyPaint, Clip Studio Paint, and Corel Painter.

I'll probably do some comparison art, lower my standards, rinse, wash repeat.
