It's my first animation project, which is why it took so long. I had to learn to animate to make it. It's only a bit over 2 minutes, but I made it the best I possibly could. Please please please watch it. I am so proud of it.
It's a trailer for my first novel- a late YA scifi/superhero book.
Is it absurd to make a fully animated book "trailer" for a book that's been out for 6 years, with voice acting and commissioned music (by the fantastic @plottwiststudios) ? I mean yes. Of course. I'm not even doing this for real marketing purposes because this is a ridiculous thing to do. I don't even really think it'll sell books but the process of making it made me really really happy.
I love my fictional disaster queers, and I love my book, and when I was a kid I thought I'd grow up to be an animator. I've always loved animation, and I really, really enjoyed making something animated myself. I'm really proud of how it turned out.

Hey sooo does anyone know if there’s gonna be a place where fanfics are gonna be just incase the KOSA gets passed (which I pray to any divine being that has power over like fate or something doesn’t happen) because we all know KOSA is probably gonna affect A03 and Wattpad and literally probably and fanfic site on the internet. I’ve personally been thinking of taking pictures of fanfics I like and just keeping it in my camera roll to read later, but I’m definitely gonna get into other fandoms and I’m probably gonna wanna read fanfics so does anyone know if theirs gonna be a way to like access like an internet archive or smth idk I just wanna freaking read fanfics in peace without worrying about lgbt content getting erased from the internet😿
I hate having to keep doing this, but I have too. I won't be doing any of this if the world wasn't going to shit and I can't do my art, or get better without, once again, The World Going To Shit.
As I posted a few days to also reblogged yesterday/last night. KOSA going to senate. I heard the rumor of it going to senate by the twenty-nineth (29, which is today) that time around of first posting. I didn't know if it were to go to senate, but I made that post as a precaution. Now hearing it's next week. The official mark up for it to arrive to senate and whether it will be sign and go to the pedo pig that sits in office. Or they will send it back and it will go back to house and, or, right back to introduction stage.
It's important we fight against this, please call your senators. Please go to Bad Internet Bills dot com. We can't let this pass. So much will come from this if it does and not in a good way.
To list a few things:
1. Climate news will be hidden more then it is now. More floods, more tornadoes, more heat, more deaths
2. Deaths from climate change will be hidden more.
3. News of Iran--Israel-America war will be covered up to make Israel and America look like the good guys. When they are bombing children and women especially.
4. Children will not be protected as the KOSA and any "But think of the children!!!!" Sounding bills. This does not make it easy for children, but for predators to get an easier grip on children. Kids' data and information will be up for grabs for any predators out there so they track children of their behavior, their friends, their families, their age, sex, gender identity, sexuality, their home, being where they live. All safety goes out the window and billionaires and politicians allow this yet proclaim as they clutch to the pearls around their necks of: "PROTECT THE CHILDREN! OH WILL SOMEONE THINK OF THE POOR POOR CHILDREN!!!!"
Kids will get hurt... They will be abused, they will be scared and they will die. Killed even...
As another thing.
5. Children will be abused more, not just by random strangers. But they're families too. If a child is in an abusive situation. Physically, whether beatings, or, sexual abuse. Emotional abuse, mental abuse, or, spiritual abuse, or, financial abuse. The child will not have an escape from it. The internet is a place for them to escape reality. Billionaires, politicians and adults around the world want to enclose children in these situations to stay put and never see freedom and never have hope. To make it easier to control the kids.
6. It's for control of information. Anything of death, wars, corruption, health, environment, climate change, abuse, crimes, and more. It will not be shown to us, and if it is, it will be rewritten to the logic of those who are pushing these bills. Make themselves look like the heroes, gods, victims.
7. Women, black and brown people, anyone of any race that deals with discrimination, LGBTQA+ will be in danger. Women's rights are already nothing more, but dust that the billionaires and politicians are constantly stepping on to release their pathetic toxic masculinity like as if that makes them better. Women's health will be even harder to seek. There are already little girls that feel they are wrong to have a period. When it's normal and a part of growing up. They will get misinformation about it. They will be preyed on. Woman's abortion rights are fucked as is. They will become non-existent and nothing more, but a faded memory. Pregnancy is already dangerous to have, so information for it will be skewed and put women at risk more.
And finally.
Your safety of the internet will no longer exist. The internet already sucks. I know. But this will make sure it NEVER gets better. As everything I list, there will be more data leaks, personal information will be stolen, things about you, your age, sex, body type, face, sexuality, sexual history, gender identity, and disabilities of any kind and financial information, will be information people will steal and sell, information that the government will hold against you. This all goes for everyone and anyone. That includes me. So anyone and everyone will be in danger if this passes and is signed by the president to become law.
All that is just the tip of the iceberg. There is more that I don't know. Even professionals about stopping these laws don't know all of what this will do.
We can't let it pass. None of it. Not KOSA, not KIDS ACT, not THE SCREEN ACT, not ANY BILL.
