Don't wash yourselves with the blood of beings. We don't need bath & beauty products that use meat or dairy to cleanse our bodies. Store bought soap (especially) and some artisanal soap companies use tallow - a rendered form of beef or mutton fat - which is processed from suet (raw beef from the loins and kidneys of cattle) to make their products. Other artisanal soap brands use large amounts of honey, palm oil, and dairy in their products to add "authenticity" to their soaps. They have the choice to use alternatives like agave nectar and coconut milk but choose to turn a blind eye. If they can't support our animal friends, why support them? Do something for yourself and other species and research before you buy. There are plenty of us vegan, cruelty-free soapers out there that are fighting for what we stand for. Help us and we'll help you.
