   ▽ – Now he’s told his students countless times he’s not their father. They’re young and  impressionable and he fits the mold being their often elder leader. In this setting however there just was no room for paternal platitudes when they need to focus on training and honing their skills against the Darkness. A father guides, a teacher instructs. He’s not at all gentle from his gruff persona to his often steely glare made worse by the bear facade he wears.

But year after year his students come by with greetings and small gifts he just .. didn’t have the heart to decline or throw away after awhile. 

And now he’ found himself crowded with a group eating sea salt ice cream alongside them they brought from some world over with idle chit chatter. God he’s grown soft.

Aced doesn’t quite remember the world or life he came from or his original name at that. His earliest memories was training with the Master alongside Ira and Luxu ( who’d always been with the Master before them ) as the first of his, at the time, child apprentices training to be Masters one day.

 Before long Invi, Gula and Ava followed and they all had a clusterfuck of a childhood together training and getting along .. somewhat.
