“Ah, (nickname), how are you? Long time no see!” Reiji said cheerfully as he hugged you.
“I’m good! It’s been too long,” you grinned back as your boyfriend caught up to you. “This is my boyfriend,” you gestured.
“Hello, I’m Suwa Reiji. Nice to meet you,” Reiji said politely. The two boys shook hands.
The rest of the time went rather smoothly, but unknown to you, Reiji was hurt. Saisei had sensed that something was off, but it wasn’t confirmed until Shizuma found him fingering and old photo of you dearly.
“Takeru-kun!” you shouted as you hugged him from behind, earning a surprised grunt from him.
“Oi, ____.” He smiled, unlike his usual stoic self. “I haven’t seen you in a long time.”
“You barely messaged me!” you blamed, earning a small laugh from him. “Anyways, Takeru-kun, I want you to meet my boyfriend later today, so could you stop by my place?”
“B-boyfriend?” he stuttered.
“Un. Sure,” he stated, his small smile long gone.
“Kyosuke!” you called, running into his arms. “It’s been so long since I’ve seen you!” you grinned.
He smiled gently at you as your boyfriend caught up and placed his hand on your shoulder.
“Who’s this?” your boyfriend asked ‘casually.’
“Oh, that’s right, you two haven’t met yet! This is Kyosuke; we’ve been friends since we were little,” you replied.
Your boyfriend leaned closer to your ear and whispered, “You know he’s dangerous, right?”
Kyosuke watched intently. He could guess what you two were talking about by the looks on your faces. Your boyfriend was obviously concerned, while you were shaking your head. He took the cue and left without a word.
“Kyo– Wait, Kyosuke!” you called. He didn’t listen.
“______!” Riku said as he ran up to you. “Who’s this?”
“It’s been so long!” you exclaimed, hugging him. “This is my boyfriend.”
“Eh?! Y-you have a boyfriend?!” his smile morphed into a look of shock.
“Yeah!” you grinned. “We’ve been dating for a while now.”
“….. Riku-kun? W-what’s wrong?”
“Ah, no worries, ____-san! I’m ay-okay!”
“You can’t say that, you’re crying!”
“Oi, you’ve been gone for way too long, ya know?!” Heath teased.
You laughed and hugged him tightly. “Sorry~.” After a while you finally let go and found your boyfriend standing right next to you. “Oh yeah, Heath, I want you to meet someone. This is my boyfriend,” you gestured.
“B-boyfriend? Eh?” He said, shocked.
“Yeah!” you laughed, remembering the old times. Heath hadn’t changed much.
“Oh, I see,” he stated simply.
“Why? Is something the matter?” you asked, wondering what in the world could be bothering him.
“Nothing. I just loved you first, that’s all.”
