you can tell im 30-something because i bought a new brand of toothbrushes and im very pleased with them. toothbrushes generally have the same problem that tennis shoes for instance have in that they're overdesigned and consequently garish and ugly. but this is literally just a single piece of plastic, all one color, with a logo printed on it and white bristles. very tasteful. it's perfect.
Fletcher said five trucks of aid went into Gaza yesterday, but described this as a “drop in the ocean” and totally inadequate for the population’s needs. He said the aid lorries, which contain baby food and nutrition, are technically in Gaza but have not reached civilians as they are just on the other side of the border.

Five trucks had entered Gaza for the first time in 3 months. This compares to 500 trucks every day before October 2023. There are miles of loaded trucks that Israel continue to block from entering besieged Gaza.
Make no mistake, Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against 2 million people.
When I came across this horrific headline, I immediately thought of my friend @amalashournew, who is trapped in Gaza and has been navigating this genocide with her toddler. Life in Gaza is unbearable for women like me.
1. I wait in line for two hours just to bring food back to our tent - food that is never enough.

I carry this pain in silence, but I cannot bear it alone anymore. The woman in this picture used her hijab to try and save her son's life. I am doing everything I can to save mine. Dina and her family used to live a relatively peaceful life in Gaza, and now they're living in a tent, facing the daily threat of Israeli bombs and bullets.
She lost her parents, four sisters and their children. No-one should ever have to go through that. Their lives and homes were destroyed. all they want is to escape the massacres and the destruction of their home.
it is blatantly clear Israel is committing genocide while pretending to wage a "war". Civilians like Dina are being deliberately targeted because Israel sees Palestinians even existing as a threat to its existence, and the world has sat by and watched for the last 76 years.
i feel horrified living in a country that supports Israel, the country that is killing her family.
