please, please, please, please i NEED a jinx inspired reader (from arcane) x jason todd/redhood.

just them pining over each other, being shy because they both think they are past reparation for the other one to like them, jinx!reader is battling with their mental health and (tw!) suicidal ideation, jason being there for them (i would adore to see how they got to know each other and how their friendship blossomed), obviously reader is there for jason too! and just them navigating a fucked up world that has been practically against them for as long as they've lived, and trying to be the guiding light to one another.

jason dating someone who has insane recognition. not a superpower or anything, but recognises faces, voices (as well as walking patterns and whatnot with people they are closer with and know better) really well, even if the interraction they shared was brief, some time later they're able to either mentally or to whoever they're with point out, "oh, that's that person from [insert where they met or what they've done to be semi-memorable to them]."

he isn't aware that his partner has this insane recognition, or at least he didn't pay that much attention to it, until, one day, as redhood, he saves his partner (make the saving as dramatic as you please, of course), and once everything is over, and no one is around them (if it happened publically), they lean in to jason dressed as redhood, and whisper a personal thank you to jason before very quickly planting a kiss to his helmet, leaving jason stunned and scared on how he got found out.

okay, i know this image depicts jason with selina (the intention of this post isn't to romanticise the pair of them or ship them) BUT!...

i would really like a fic where you are selina's double (she took you under her paw the same way bruce did to see what the fuss over a sidekick was about, and either you are her little kitten sidekick - preferably keep y/n cat-related, please - or she trains you to be capable of impersonating her when she's injured) and during the day/when you're not leading your double life, you and jason (whom you don't know is redhood) live next door to one another in the same apartment building.

the plot of the fic can be whatever really:

either some fluff of jason crushing over his cute neighbour who he doesn't know he's fought against and rejected the flirting of because his heart is set on his quiet, nerdy, book-loving neighbour.

some more 18+ banter mid fight (this can be against one another, or you guys teaming up).

maybe some slowburn where your double lives isn't the main focus, but rather the apartment building has become momentarily faulty (electricity won't turn on, water is now cold, etc.) and one of you guys is forced to knock on your neighbour's door for one reason or the other and you guys get to know each other.

TSH spoilers:

I feel like we as a fandom do not talk about Henry’s symbolism in TSH enough. Like, that dude is the literal embodiment of death, and I just think it’s so damn cool. I mean, his whole obsession with language and literature stemmed from the fact that he almost died in a car accident. And then every death we see in the book (the farmer’s, Bunny’s, and his very own) is directly at his hands. The others were accomplices, sure, but Henry’s the one who takes action every time. And in Francis’s failed suicide and Richard’s near death in the epilogue, they both see Henry, not Bunny or Charles or what have you.

Henry is not only obsessed with death, he IS death. He’s the reaper who’s friends toy with their mortality all the time through drugs and booze. The reason they all admire him is not only because of his size and stature and brilliance; it’s because he’s dangerous. If beauty is indeed terror, than he’s the most beautiful of them all. They all have the life preservation skills of a fly, so of course they love Henry. And of course his actions constantly bring them closer to danger and death.
