Berserk was a big inspiration for my own comic. I have huge admiration for Miura's work. I wish he had a better, healthier life.

I don't do a lot of fan art, but I'm just trying to find my peeps here on the tumbls! I love final fantasy X and I always thought Lulu and Wakka's relationship was sweet and interesting, with a lot of nuance to it. Not necessarily my favourite characters but I do feel they get less rep so it was the first one I went for.

This piece is called 26 de Abril.

If you don't know, on the 25th of April 1974 Portugal overthrew the dictatorship and installed a democratic republic. It was called the Carnation Revolution because people would go around putting carnations in the guns of the army. It was mostly not violent. Anyway, the more time passes the more the corruption in out government is shameless. This painting is meant to depict portuguese demoracy dead or dying, grieving the country and its people.
