Letting out a soft groan, Rebekah placed her head in her hand, elbow resting against the stained bar counter. “Same,” she dotted, a part of her breaking from the fact. “I don’t know, this new world with Tinder and swiping right and all that kind of takes away from the mystery of meeting someone at the bar. And then, when you do meet someone at the bar, they are completely obnoxious anyway and act like entitled assholes who are god’s gift to the world.”
“C’mon,” Valentine spoke up in a doubtful tone. It seemed near impossible that someone as good looking and well, as smart as Rebekah would have any trouble finding someone. At least to fuck around with. “Well, maybe if you take those entitled assholes and keep them for just one night, it wouldn’t be as bad,” Val suggested. It was what she did - fuck with anyone that she deemed hot enough, leave while still dark and go home to her husband, period. It worked for her. “I’ll help you find someone hot. What’s your type?” She’d never thought about talking about that with her partner, but the conversation topic didn’t seem annoying at the moment.
