Feng Xin definitely cried in the most pathetic manner at Xie Lian's wedding.

Mu Qing sat by his side, pretending he doesn't know this man.

Then they went up to Xie Lian to congratulate him, and Xie Lian, gorgeous in wedding-red and beaming with unbound happiness, cuddled Feng Xin in his arms with gentle teasing giggling to calm him down.

And they managed to pull Mu Qing in the embrace, of course, and Mu Qing didn't reject. He leaned closer to them, holding Xie Lian as gently as he could, overwhelmed with emotions he did his best to subdue, lightheaded at the sight of his friend in wedding attire, and murmured "I wish you will not be lonely ever again" before he could bite his tongue to stop himself.

And Xie Lian replied "Yeah, I wish so too". And Feng Xin, who almost calmed down, cried even harder, simultaneously cursing Mu Qing for saying l-word.

(Both Xie Lian and Mu Qing got hit by abrupt need to cry as well, but Xie Lian was too happy for that and Mu Qing too proud, and both wore make-up, so...)

I can’t believe I have never thought about how Quan Yizhen was so unhinged by constantly sneaking gold into XL’s donation box because he was nice to him and Yin Yu and him using that unhinged behaviour when he learns about how much Hua Cheng has done for Yin Yu.

Headcanons that:

HC hardly ever calls XL by his name, and when he finally does it's not due to XL's endless requests to do it, but rather a accidental slip of his tongue. Because HC quite often adresses XL by his name in his head, but forbids himself of indulging this shameless habit outloud. And when HC slips, he can't help feeling uneasy as if he broke some important taboo that shouldn't've been broken.

XL calls HC by his name when he's royally pissed at him. It's even rarer than HC saying XL's name, because there isn't really that much things HC can do that might piss XL off (I came up with only one possible AU, and it's more XL being stressed out of his mind, scared for HC and of losing him when HC recklessly endangers himself, than merely angry). When XL calls his husband Hua Cheng, the whole ghost city hears it and turns around in shock and curiousity, because damn, what a show, their chengzhu managed to piss off their gentle-hearted dianxia. HC may not know yet how he managed that but he's already ready to pray for forgiveness, as his guilt creeps into the flesh under his ribs. (The way XL hugs him fiercely afterwards, still shaken, makes something in HC bleed.)

I want a 'silly naive first crush' AU where teenage Lan Qianqiu by pure accident sees Xie Lian without his mask, and goes insane at the ethereal beauty of the most gorgeous face he's ever seen in his short life. He admired Xie Lian ever since they met — and now his admiration dives head-first into the obsession that Lan Qianqiu doesn't want to admit is actually a crush, because how can he admit such blunt disrespect that falling awkwardly and stupidly in love is.

(He keeps the memory of that beauty close to his chest, not even thinking of sharing it with anybody. If his shifu chose to hide his face, then so be it.

He barely resists giggling at the rumours about shifu's hideous face hidden under the mask, though.)

One day I had a weird dream, in which some higher forces added weird AI shit to my favourite messenger, and it messed up the whole app, so I couldn't figure out how to use it anymore.

And I tried to complain to "San Lang" (I don't even have a San Lang), but to complain I had to figure out how to use my messenger but. it. refused. to. work!! The best I managed was to send a cry for help and disappear for good.

San Lang saw that I'm struggling, and did their best to comfort me and help me out.

This dream is SO hualian coded it's insane.
