     How can this be? Swift footed Achilles, a hero among heroes, finds himself in the middle of a daunting maze deep in the Mistwood. Had he access to his old speed, running through here would have made the challenge a total breeze. But with no weapons and his godly speed taken away, he’s had to do this the old fashioned way…

     And it seems that navigation was never really his strong suit. … How bad was it?

           “Is anyone here?! I’ve been stuck here for ten hours–!“

     … Yikes.

     “ Any louder and you will draw the attention of the ‘horrors’. Please keep your voice down. “

monotone and quick is the reply given, quickly announcing her presence as she turns the corner within the maze. the Valkyrie did not expect to to encounter one screaming their head off. a silly action-- the purpose of this was to reach the end, to reach victory, without getting caught. shouting seems to completely defeat that purpose. 

      “ If you’ve been in here for that long, then this maze is beyond your capabilities. "

             SHE   eyes the creature with no shortage of awe, cheeks flushed with excitement. Still, there was a mild sense of trepidation; after all, Tsubaki has yet to see a horse in person. Horses were more of a luxury, even among the Duodecim… Her family likely could have acquired one, but the possibility of disease made having any animals around a risk rarely taken. With its long, healthy mane and glowing eyes ( such a vivid shade of green… ! ), Tsubaki is awestruck… But also stunned to see just how big a horse is up close. 

        ❝   I have carrots and apples here,   ❞   she murmurs, swaying her lance slightly; a few grocery bags are looped along the staff.  ❝   Are those safe to offer ?   ❞

    at first, the valkyrie remains silent, carefully observing the woman before her. her gaze shifts to the spear ( a magnificent weapon, worthy of a warrior ) and then to the bags filled with produce. many have approached with a similar request, but before Brynhild could even get a word out, Balder would make the decision for her. such a picky horse he could be. but....not with this woman. 

          like her, he must be able to tell that she is no stranger to combat. he must find her worthy.

  “ He is friendly to those he wants to be.” she speaks, a hand reaching out to rest against the horse’s neck. “ You may offer the carrots to him, for he has a liking to such food. “

  I probably won’t do a starter call for the event, as I have some things already planned out and don’t wanna overload myself, but here is an info post pertaining to what Brynhild will be going as for the event

VALKYRIE

yeah. you saw that right. ‘ but she’s already a valkyrie ‘ no no no no, i mean valkyrie as in legendary valkyrie from the time she was alive.

so that means she’ll have the full armor set, the wings, the winged headdress, the weapons, etc. etc. her appearance will be something similar to this in costume.

as for abilities, i’ll mostly be giving her flight because of her wings, but for a minimum amount of time. increased strength and speed, what you’d expect

she also has a horse. a very pretty white horse with a flowing mane and glowing green eyes, his name is Balder. please feed him carrots, he enjoys them.

strength of the soul, of the heart, was just as important as physical strength and was something that should not be slacked upon, nor forgotten. even for Servants, it was not something to be so easily cast aside. to do their duty to their Master, they needed to be in peak condition. such could be applied to humans as well.

    “ Unfortunately, there exist no Demonic Beasts here for me to harvest from. The Denizens that roam the Mistwood, however, are perfect substitutes. Their hearts will do just fine. “ her voice is ever steady and calm, even as she sets the bowl down in front of the other. it looks okay......

          minus the wine color it held. and the smell. and the little chunks floating in it. 

   “ Worry not, their organs should not be poisonous to you. Ah......but..... If they are, then I shall administer first-aid. Now eat up.

   Orchid’s Peak was quick to become a place the Valkyrie has come to frequent. there was a serenity to be found, a rare sort of peace, among the colorful flowers that lined the crater of the volcano. popular as it was, most preferred to view it from the balcony above, so there was some seclusion to be found. not much, but enough-- when the children who visited weren’t frolicking through the flora. she does not mind it, however. Brynhild has a fondness for children, and the ones laughing as they play tag remind her of those back in the Scandinavian Lostbelt.  

         so eager to show her to flowers. happy to busy themselves with telling her about their lives. even in a place where life was difficult, they found reasons to smile. she turns, gaze flickering to the other woman seated across from her, eyes scanning the pages of a thick book. a scholar, by the looks of it, or someone who greatly enjoys reading. the Servant has been careful to be quiet as not to disturb her, but one of the children running up to her is what gently breaks that silence. in his hands was a crown made of flowers, hastily crafted, but made with thought nonetheless. 

    Brynhild bows at her waist, head lowered and gaze to the flowers below her as one of the children places a crown of lilac & white upon her head, giggle. she smiles softly, raising to properly face the child as fingertips reach up to touch the new adornment. “ Thank you, young one. Our friend here deserves a crown as well, don’t you think?“ to which he happily agreed, rushing off to make another.

     “ Our capabilities, although different, do bear some similarities. The origin, as one example. “

 the Age of Gods, if she were to be precise. a time where most magecraft was more akin to actual Magic . it is a time that no longer exists, but remnants do. in the form of Servants, of what they can do and the powers they possess. of course, in this strange city she once again finds herself in, they have been limited. it reminds her of the time her Divinity had been stripped by her Father. ( it reminds her of the time where, for all intents and purposes, she was human. )

 “ .....although, I do not know what advantages it would hold in improving these small drink ornaments. “ she is talking about the tiny pink umbrella sticking out of her glass. that had flamingos on it. she’d much rather have ones with penguins-- they were cuter.

   “ Here, Miss Cirina. This should aid you far more than your clothing might.”

speaks the valkyrie in that ever gentle tone of hers, arms outstretched as a basket rests in her palms. woven out of the many palm leaves found on the tropical island, Brynhildr found it to be a much more suitable vessel to transport the wild fruit in. yes, they could simply carry it in their arms, back to that little encampment, but this would be better. it should hold more and offer freer movement.

        “ I am afraid I cannot make anything bigger.” and yet, the basket easily reached up to her knees. “ The leaves might not hold under the weight, but I can carry the more heavier items, should you wish. “

 LANCER [ BRYNHILDR] --  F/GRAND ORDER

one of the more notable Valkyrie’s from Norse legend that escorted the souls of the worthy to Valhalla. she was more akin to a Divine Spirit during this time

kinda went against Odin by showing favor to one soul and guaranteed them victory when it had been promised to someone else by her father and had her divinity mostly stripped away for this and cast down to earth

it was then that she fell in love some Sigurd and inched away from her ‘doll’ like behavior, slowly learning more human-like qualities and emotions

THAT ENDED....KINDA BADLY

if your man can’t tank a spear blast to show how much he loves you then what even is the point

loves just about every Servant and even if they are her enemy, shows them respect as they are warriors deserving of it to her. it also makes her NP super duper effective the more she loves them

speaking of love, she gets an intense desire to kill whoever she ‘loves’ and as a result, does her upmost best to keep a respectable distance.

has memories of what occurred in FATE/PROTOTYPE and the Russian Lostbelt and is knowledgeable of all that has occurred thus far in part 2 so spoilers are present!

she’s just someone trying to learn to be more human please be her friend, she needs friends
