Just a little test
Reblog this if I can tag you in random starters with no prior planning what so ever.
AU where Muse A has been missing for five years and presumed dead until one day an old friend of theirs (Muse B) receives a letter in the mail that simply says ‘Not dead. Let’s have dinner.’, with a place and a time and a Muse A’s initials at the bottom.

Lucy managed a small smile at Gem’s caring touch. “Sorry for being such trouble,” she sighed. “And I guess. I should stop apologizing now, because it’s about as much use as being bald.”
She tried to think of something more useful than 'It's all my fault', ‘Why am I so stupid’, ‘It won’t even had any use’, or ‘Please forgive me, you’re my best friend’, but she couldn’t. Instead she settled on at least satisfying her curiosity: “How on earth do you even manage to make a time machine mad at yourself?”
Gem blinked once, then twice. that wasn’t the question she’d been expecting. She tried to hold back a laugh and ended up snorting. That was Lucy, always asking the important questions.
"I needed a special kind of metal for a project, turns out she doesn’t like me scavenging her bits." Gem shrugged. "or joyriding for that matter."
She shook her head with a chuckle. “Anyway are you still hungry, thirsty? Need anything?” She didn’t know what havoc time travel could wreak on a human body.
"I don't suppose you have vodka?" Lucy answered with a week grin. "Because I feel like I really could use a drink. Other than that... Something to eat wouldn't be too bad. I can make myself a sandwich, if that's okay."
She wrapped her arms around her torso, a little too tight to be really comfortable. "And maybe, then we can sit down and think about what we're gonna do calmly, right?"
Just because this is an RP blog, doesn't mean I won't answer questions like an ask blog. My askbox is always open to any questions you might have for my muse.
Lucy smiled down on the younger girl clinging to her hand. “I’d like that,” she answered gently. “I’m sure we will be great friends and you can show me all the things you like to do. Maybe we should only ride bikes when your dad’s around, though.” She looked up at said dad with a knowing grin.
"It’s still a while until I have to go home. What do you want to do today?"
Gemini tilted her head to the side, thinking. She glanced at her dad, then her mum, then Lucy again. Her dad gave a tiny nod and she grinned.
"Come on!" She said, pulling Lucy out to the back garden and to what looked like a bush, just a little taller than her.
"I would have got here without getting pulled and stumbling over two different steps," she laughed, giving Gem's hand a little squeeze so she'd know it was all in good humor.
She looked around the nice but not very spectacular garden. "So what did you want to show me?"

[text: Little Witch] Yes.
[text: Little Witch] It’s a girl.

"Well, technically I am getting older now." Gem said with a chuckle. Her body had to grow and change to accomodate the baby so she’d had to jump through some mental hoops to reprogram the nanogenes. While normally the microscopic robots kept each and every cell alive and disabled her body’s ability to create more, effectively putting her in a full body stasis, now that wouldn’t work. She needed to be able to create more cells and let others die for her child to have a healthy development. "I’m just getting older from a younger starting point."
She bit back another laugh. “Alright, just let me sit down before the flood, don’t want you to knock me off my feet.” She moved to the kitchen with the ease of someone that had been there many times before. “Do you mind if I make tea?” She was already getting out cups. That was the familiarity she had with Lucy.
Lucy made a point of studying Gem, walking around her friend and searching her face from different angles. "No," she finally decided with a wink, "it doesn't show at all. You're still essentially ageless."
She followed Gem back into the kitchen, and leaned against the counter. She tried moving around the frozen pieces of Paella in the pan. I didn't seem to be helpful in any way, so she left the food to itself again.
"Don't ask stupid questions, when you're going to answer yourself," she replied gesturing to the cups in her friend's hands - the two they always used although the childish print of Gem's had long faded and hers was missing part of the handle and she had at least a dozen newer ones in the cupboard. "Hang on, I'll boil the water." A little flick of her wand (and a spell murmured under her breath, but she didn't want to admit to that) and steam was rising from the kettle.

"Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Medicine go do-own, medicine go down. Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go-oh!" Gem jumped as her attention was suddenly snatched from her Disney reenactment. "How long have you been there?"
"Long enough to see that spectacular pirouette," Lucy grinned, holding up her phone. "And to make a video. I should send it to some musical casting or something. Or maybe your mum. You know how mums love showing off embarrassing videos of their children."

[text: Alien Girl] Don’t know, if you’ll think it’s edible :D Got it from that German discount shop, Aldi. See you :)
Carelessly tossing her phone on the counter, she hurriedly fished the frozen meal out of the freezer and started preparing the meal. She’d just laid the table with a flick of her wand, when she heard knock on the door and ran to open it, barely biting back a flood of questions.
"It’s great to see you again!" she smiled instead and gave her friend a tight hug.
The house hadn’t changed much. Still looked the same as Gem remembered. And Gem did remember. No matter how old she got she always remembered certain things, almost everything in fact.
The door swung open and she was in her friends arms, hugging her back with as much ferocity as Lucy. “Oh, I missed you.” She said with a smile when she finally stepped back. “You got older.”
"Not all of us can stay young forever," Lucy answered with a cheeky grin, studying her friend's forever wrinkle-free skin. The grin didn't fade. Even when she hadn't seen Gem in a long time, she always got right back into the old familiarity when they were together, never feeling awkward or uncomfortable around her oldest friend, like no time had passed at all.
"Come in!" She gestured, backing away from the door to let her through. "I'm not quite sure how much longer I'll be able to hold back a massive flood of questions."
Lucy looked up at Rose with a smile that was only stopped by her ears from wrapping all the way around her head.
"Thank you, Mrs Tyler! Can I-" She bit her lip sometimes it was so hard to know whether adults really meant to do something nice or were just being polite, but Gemini’s parents smiled so genuinely…
"Can I maybe just come visit once in a while? I really like being here and you’re so nice to me and I promise to behave and not be any trouble."
She decided to throw in a compliment for good measure. “Your house is really nice, too. And I could make myself useful, if you want me to.”
"You come visit all you like." Rose said, offering the child a smile and a quick hug.
"The way i see it," John said with a smile. "You’ve already been quite useful. You brought Gem home safe and you saved us from a very messy lemonade spill. We are entirely in your debt."
Gem jumped from her place and grabbed Lucy’s hand. “You can come over and we can play and ride bikes and be friends, right?”
Lucy smiled down on the younger girl clinging to her hand. "I'd like that," she answered gently. "I'm sure we will be great friends and you can show me all the things you like to do. Maybe we should only ride bikes when your dad's around, though." She looked up at said dad with a knowing grin.

"Okay," Lucy sighed, "I think I understand. I understand, I am scared and I don’t know how this is going to work, but… I still trust you. Looks like we’ve got no time to lose. What is the plan?"
She pulled at her hair in frustration and found some of it still in her fingers when she let go. “Oh, Gem. I am so scared.”
Gem sighed. How was she supposed to handle a worried teenager? Rassilon, she’d just mess this up too. Could she get Lucy back to her time safe or would she get her killed like Allana and Danny and Sylvestry?
But she had to try, didn’t she?
"Whatever the plan is, you being bald will neither help nor hinder so quit that." She took Lucy’s little hands and pulled the brown strands from her fingers before putting the hands on the table and resting hers over them. "We’ll think of something. Normally, I’d use the TARDIS, but I’m banned from her and, even if I wasn’t, she’s mad at me."
She raked a hand through her own brown hair. “I’d ask Dad to take you, but he and Mum are on a mission and quite frankly won’t be back before Time erases you.” Gem laughed dryly. “She’s worse than a woman scorned, Time is.”
Lucy managed a small smile at Gem's caring touch. "Sorry for being such trouble," she sighed. "And I guess. I should stop apologizing now, because it's about as much use as being bald."

Write an honest review on my roleplaying skills- I'd love to know what I'm doing right, and what I can improve on.

[text: Alien Girl] The new postman. Adam. He’s a real gossiper. He just told me at the door, so I thought everyone knew but I. But he’s a bit of a creeper, wouldn’t be the first time he’s listening in on people…
[text: Alien Girl] Look, I’m really sorry. But I want to know what’s going on in your life. We’re still friends, right? Just… call me as soon as you can.
[text: Little Witch] A tad, yeah.
[text: Little Witch] Listen, it’s no big deal. unexpected, but no big. Course we’re still friends, don’t be daft. I’ll tell you about it at lunch? I’ll buy?
[text: Little Witch] I may have to do a background check on this postman.
[text: Alien Girl] Course it's a big deal. You're going to be a mum! I never expected you'd be the first one of us, to be honest. You're still like my little baby sister.
[text: Alien Girl] Do you wanna come over for lunch? Mum's gone out with a friend and I have frozen Paella. Imprisoning the post man can wait til we've talked over this.
