“It’s nice to meet you, Miss Rose! “ He smiled brightly up at the taller individual. “You’re even taller than Sir Tomato! I’m kind of shocked, to be honest. But then again, I’m rather short, so..” Sir Bacon laughed lightly, tilting his head.

“Um, well... I’m not a medium, even if I wished I were. I’m more of a large to an extra large sorta guy, ya know? “

He poked his stomach a bit.Surely he hadn’t lost any weight?

“I’m not a pig either! Well, not technically. I’m a rabbit. And what’re you supposed to be? Why do you have dishcloths wrapped around your face? “

“It just feels difficult… I don’t know. I was never even planning on being a part of a quest before all of this happened…” Why couldn’t he just have gone to school like he’d wanted? “But now that I am, I’m just hoping what I’m doing will make some sort of difference.” He thinned his mouth a bit when Bacon tried to reassure him, but he decided not to speak on the matter.

“Y-yeah… I guess some food sounds pretty good.”

“Well, it’s happening, so all you can do is your best, right? I do my best, and it may not seem like much, but you never know how it’ll affect things in the long run! Like if you add some small something into soup. Too much celery and it’s overpowering. But just enough pepper and things turn out great!” Okay, so he wasn’t that great at talks like this. But he did try.

“Food is always good! I’ve got all sorts of snacks--have you even had a chance to eat decently while on your adventure?” Sir Bacon opened his bag, searching through it to try and find something to give the smaller rabbit.
