[ ♥ ] — Once the topic turns to behind the scenes info on her favorite soap opera, Felicity excitedly bounces in her seat as she leans closer to see the pictures on Muffy’s phone. Ah, the thrill of learning information that only a select few people were privy to… she could only imagine this was how Tina felt when she finally got her hands on a juicy scoop. Honestly, it brought back a nostalgic rush from Felicity’s own journalism days.
But right now, she was merely a civilian enjoying a delightful spot of insider tea. “Oh, you think? I can definitely see the appeal in the Roxas and Xion coupling… they’ve been getting quite a bit of tease lately! I never would have considered the others, though…” She gives a thoughtful hum. When it came to fan bases, Felicity never really involved herself too deeply, so she had no idea what the general consensus on romance preferences were.
“But they’d be cute! Though Roxas and Naminé have history, so I’m personally rooting for them.” She sips at her (literal) cup of tea, using her comment as a segue into another topic she held close to her heart: dating. Not regarding fictional characters, but her roommate. Felicity was interested in knowing if Muffy had her eye on anyone, or if she’d have to be on the lookout for any late night visits. ♪
She smiles, “And if you don’t mind my asking… what about you? Is there a special someone in your life I should be rooting for?”
Muffy had to admit, she felt some pride at how she was considered a source of information for the other blonde, after all, in the industry she worked in it was only natural to discover spits and spots of information about shows and movies. She would always be careful to never give too much away, but a little tease now and again wasn’t going to hurt, was it?
Muffy’s smile momentarily dropped at Felicity’s next question, as the sad reality was no. There was no one special in her life. There hadn’t been anyone special in her life for a long time, really. And that wasn’t for lack of trying, Muffy wanted so badly to find the one, to find someone she could spend the rest of her life with, but it never ended well. Whatever the reason, she would always end up alone, miserable and back to square one. Be it because they move away, or they secretly had another girlfriend the entire time, or because they were never looking for anything serious.
But her smile returned as quickly as it had fallen, and she shook her head. “I’ve been on a couple of dates, but I don’t see anything serious coming from it. I’m about as single as you can get, really,” she laughed awkwardly, “but what about you? I’d find it hard to believe someone as pretty as you doesn’t have suitors lining up!”
