Week XII - Final Visual Design
This is the completion of my Visual Design of my drink. My drink is honey water that energises, boosts, heals and helps develop our body. It is a positive source for the body and is a long lasting energy boost.
Week XI - Final Mock-up of Bottle Designs
These are my final designs for my Bottles, although they will also include a bottle cap. These are the paper mock-ups I created to see a physical model of design to see if there was any changes that needed to be made.
Week X - Bottle Design
These are my final design for my water bottle designs. The images on the left will be manufactured in clear but has been created in white to show the features of the bottle. The bottle on the right with be created as is.
Week IX - Fonts/Logo Designs
This is the final design for my logo and the font that I have created in illustrator as I wanted to individualise my font through slowly manipulating each corner of each letter to reach my desired shape and design
Week VIII - Visual Design
The is the design I am developing further and moving head for my visual direction
Get your message across with instantly shareable videos for work. Capture your screen, record your front-facing camera, and narrate it all at once, then instantly share with a simple link.
Week VII - Elevated Pitch
After our pitch presentation, the decision was made to continue on with in my second mood board on Healing for Everyone, which was decided on a vote from my DESN1011 class
Week VI - Final Mood Boards
The final idea I will decide on which mood board I am continuing on with in next weeks tutorial through a group decision.
WEEK V - INSPIRATIONAL QUOTE
I use this quote throughout all fields of my life whether it be uni, work or sport. This quote allows you to look at what you are doing and ask yourself whether what you are doing is helpful or whether you are over working yourself on something that does not require it.
WEEK IV - ADJUSTMENTS
Through the process of transitioning from the university resources to home resources I have struggled to upload my tumblr posts due to internet problems. In my peer review this was the main problem with my feedback and i have been able to visit the university library to slowly upload my completed posts.
Through my peer review I created more depth into my research and put more research into my design briefs. I have also been able to get up to date with all the work required over the extended holidays.
WEEK III - MOODS BOARDS
Pulling together our ideas to create our final designs through Text, Image and Logos, by creating mood boards and using word associations.
WEEK II - INSPIRATION, RESEARCH & MINDMAPS
Currently I have not finalised a name for the product that I am creating. My product is honey water and I am focusing on the healing properties it contains.
Having bees allows you to see the work they do every day into filling and capping off their honey and has enable me to create and develop a idea that is environmentally friendly and will injury no bees in the process as they are the roots of the world.
With the main focus of my product design being the healing products honey has I have completed thorough research into the facts and myths about honey. Honey is extremely beneficial for athletes, being a natural remedy that has similar benefits of sport drinks and gels. Honey boosts a variety of elements within the human body and has a positive effect for endurance athletes due its slow release of energy. This information is explain further in the last two images.
Image one is a collection of the six boards I have created contains the inspiration for my product.

Image two is comprised of a variety of mindmaps that explore the target market, name, the colour pallet, ideas and the concept of the product.
Honey also helps individuals that struggle with diabetes, cancer and heart disease and contains antioxidants which fight compounds causing harm. This is further explained in the third photos.
My idea is still not set in stone but my research and image collecting this week gave me a deeper understand on what needs to be included. My target market has not yet been chosen either and I’m not sure whether I will create a drink with two different images on the bottle to show the audience what they want or whether I will be able to create a design that will cater for both audiences and not be over crowded and will by proportionate for my bottle. My two audiences are athletes and individuals suffering from the topic listed in my images.
This week has allowed me to gain a deeper insight into honeys and how it can be used by humans for a positive effect.
WEEK I - GOOD AND BAD DRINK DESIGNS
Lemon Squash is a Good Drink Design; it has a very clear, effective logo and good representation.
La Croix is a Bad Drink Design; it has to many contrasting elements and the actual drink, Sparkling Water is not properly represented on the can.
