The golden calf is a biblical symbol of idolatry and greed

we could give george a gun but he'd sooner shoot himself than anyone from mercedes and that's really the whole problem
george russell, belgian gp 2026 // "paper bag," fiona apple
haven't been the same since someone pointed out that george's t-pose is the exact silhouette of jesus crucified
absolute generational cursed season my god
went to torture city and they said george was a long term resident and beloved neighbour
Not the driving style ig
never want to put my feet back down
on the ground
gunna be honest the sky team showing Toto a video of George being swamped on the straight and saying âwell clearly he doesnât have straight line speed as you can see hereâ multiple times
only for Toto to waffle some bullshit like âwe all make mistakes sometimesâ or âGeorge knows the team backs him 100%â or âall of the Mercedes engines are strugglingâ or âthese regulations just donât suit every driverâs styleâ or âwe are always trying to do betterâ or âlast race we failed Kimiâ âŚ..
itâs just this complete and utter refusal to acknowledge that Georgeâs car has an issue that is directly causing him to be slower than Kimi, and the refusal to take accountability for that, COUPLED WITH his immediate rolling over and apologising as soon as something goes wrong for Kimi thatâs just really pissing me off
i am still absolutely reeling after that Spa GP. what happened to George today wasnât just bad luck; it was a masterclass in garage negligence, for a change.
starting a race at a circuit like Spa, where thermal management and ers deployment are critical down Kemmel, with only 70% battery capacity is a farce.
SEVENTY PERCENT.
it is completely indefensible, both technically and strategically. and this isnât an isolated issue, as we well know; George has been plagued by chronic mgu-k faults and energy harvesting deficits for weeks. by sending him out with an uncharged energy store, the team effectively ruined his race before the lights even went out, completely compromising his strategy. and the most infuriating part of it all is knowing that while heâs begging for help and for the bare minimum over the radio, everyone just calls him a whiner and insists that 'no, thereâs no favoritism in the team and both cars are equal.' are they, though? because it seems like, to this day, 90% of the issues happen on car 63. and let's not even talk about what Torger said regarding Kimi and George going through the same amount of struggles, because that still drives me mental. the discrepancy in how both cars are handled and optimized is glaringly obvious at this point, regardless of what anyone says.
honestly, my admiration for George just keeps growing, because his restraint is incredible. i would have physically broadsided half that paddock and become the most historical villain in the history of this sport a long, long time ago. he deserves so much better than this amateur hour. he deserves so much more than being treated like nothing since day one. and every time some idiot who thinks they understand data compares him to Kimi, i want to throw myself off a cliff. itâs not the same thing. it never was the same thing and it never will be. but unfortunately, those who only survive on standings-based arguments will never be capable of understanding how all of this actually works.
anyway, just another frustrating race sunday that will probably shave about 5 years off my life expectancy, but it is what it is, and unfortunately thereâs nothing i can do but keep believing and supporting him. because until the end of this shit, until the very last second, and as long as mathematical chances are ahead of a result, i will still be here, standing firm, believing in George. and i will always believe in George. he will make it, and he will shut all of you up in the best possible way. and then weâll finally see how your prodigy, who still doesnât know how to respect track limits lol, will react to that. until then, iâll continue to think that every single person who pretends to watch this sport just to look cool and has absolutely no idea what theyâre doing can go straight to hell.
see you in Hungary.
