UPDATE 5/24/16

Whoa I really haven’t been on and looking back at my past posts I live up to the idea of hormonal teenage girl LOL. I guess the Internet is truly a place to put things out on impulse. Anyways, I really have a lot to talk about but senior year has been so busy for me (whoever said second semester is slacker semester, how did you not get rescinded???). Anyways, a lot has been going on and I’m probably gonna do a series of posts on what’s been going on after Senior Checkout Day on Thursday and I will try to regularly blog throughout summer before my first year of college. Also, I need an outlet to fangirl about all of the recent kpop comebacks (although they won’t be very recent when I am able to talk about them LOL) but yeah. Let’s hope the year ends smoothly, for me and for everyone.

UPDATE 4/18/16

OMG so much has happened in these past few weeks and I haven’t been able to update the blog at all LOL. Well, now since things are settling down I’m trying to decide what I want to do (that is more text posts or a video blog) but yeah. As a small summary though, I went to Japan, got sick, AND I’M GOING TO COLLEGE YAY! xD

Happy Valentines’ Day! Well, if you’re like me, you didn’t have a real lover to spend it with, but honestly I don’t think it’s that bad. I spent the morning volunteering for the LA marathon with friends which was fun and then at night I went out with my mom and grandma, alla us single ladies xD It’s nice to know that on Valentines’ Day I can love myself too. This pic makes me laugh and speaks truth to some degree so I thought I’d post it :)

Happy (late) Lunar New Year!!!

So I’m late on this but Happy Lunar New Year! After putting on a few pounds and a few extra dollars in my pocket, I could say that the start of this year has been a success. I wanted to post a picture for my profile finally but then I realized I don’t really take selfies or have lots of pictures of me .-. I’m always in a group LOL. Guess I gotta work on my profile pic game (even my Facebook profile doesn’t have just me in it xD, I haven’t updated it in 3 years either but planning to soon).

IT’S DONE!!!

So today was the last day of finals and first semester is officially over for me!! I got to say, this was the first time I ever had to study so hard for my finals because usually I just go in and do it but this year has been so hard D: (combination of harder class/workload, college apps, and a hint of senioritis) I’ve never been so proud of myself (my gov grade jumped 2% after the final LOL) and I’m just praying that the hard work will pay off. However, I know I did my best and whatever happens happens. BUT NOW BREAKKKKKKKK!!!! WOOT!

Can I just say that I love the new BTS album??? The Bangtan Boys come back and they don’t disappoint with In the Mood for Love Part 2. Now, I love these boys and sure I might have a bias (especially towards V >.>) but they have absolutely outdid themselves. This album has a more adult-feel to it as the music focuses on the boys proving themselves and showing sadness over love. The intro song “Never Mind” seems like motivational song about following your dreams and Suga truly keeps it raw as he cusses on the track, which only adds to it because you can really feel the passion. The second track, “Run,” which is the title track, is absolutely beautiful with its sense of urgency and absolutely stunning choreography (The boys were so hot at the MAMA Awards, CONGRATS TO THEM BTW). “Butterfly” was a long ago released track in the prologue and it definitely didn’t disappoint as the boys demonstrated their sweet side with silky vocals. “Whalien 52″ happens to be my current favorite track (although with BTS I love all of their songs and my obsession with a certain track changes often). I absolutely love the sweet tune, it reminds me of the kind of upbeat the sweet the boys had with “Converse High” in their last album. “Ma City” makes me when to just jump up and move to the beat as the boys brag about their backgrounds. “Tryhard” (also known as “Crow Tit”) is a song that makes a play on an old folklore (? I think) about a stork and the boys are basically showing that they aren’t copies and totally raw and original. This happens to be my second favorite track since I love how badass it makes me feel (kind of like how “Dope” always made me want to stand up and drive myself to do better). “Dropping Leaves” had a very melancholic feel, and very much a masterpiece in showing how a love falls apart. The outro, “House of Cards,” is absolutely amazing with its tense beats old orchestral support. There is great angst in the song and the boys do it well to end a song which shows what it means for things to fall apart. All in all, definitely one of my favorites and BTS has continued to not fail me ^.^

Break!!!

So Thanksgiving break has started and I get a whole week!! I was so relieved because before the break I had to take an AP Physics C Final and that class is kicking my butt right now D: Well it’s over and there’s no use crying over spilled milk xD Time to work on UC Apps and projects before time goes by too fast...

I would’ve posted this yesterday when I first saw it (I SET AN ALARM TO WAKE ME UP FROM MY NAP JUST FOR THIS)! Anyways, I have been dying these last few days, the lack of sleep has caught up to me and I’ve felt horrible D: Yesterday was the worst but this video totally lifted my spirits, love all of the boys! So quick comments for all of them: Dino with that hair down ain’t bad looking xD S-coups with dark hair makes him so adorbs. Junghan letting it all loose, still that beautiful angel. Seungkwan still hitting me with the sweet vocals, he could sing to me all day T.T DK with that smile, I... >.> Woozi and Hoshi with that watermelon combo (BOTH OF THEM ARE SO CUTE). The8 still has that charm (I ship him and Hoshi btw, after the performance vid xD) Jun’s eyes ;) Wonwoo showing that even manly can fall pretty hard for love. I laughed so hard when Vernon was contemplating the slap he received LOL. Mingyu is fine with that blue hair, not gon lie. And last but definitely not least, Joshua... when he gets more lines and kills you with the looks and vocals x_x

Senior Year ALKSJDKLAJSKL

So, senior year of high school has started. Actually, I’m already in my third week but school is SO STRESSFUL!!! I haven’t been able to update because my weekdays are filled with homework and studying and then my weekends are filled with homework, catching up on sleep, trying to arrange time with friends... thank goodness this weekend will be a three day weekend (PRAISE LABOR DAY)!!! So everything has been okay, AP Physics has just been giving me a run for my money >.> I’m really hoping that I can get through this and somehow still pass the semester with an A, working really hard and hoping that it will pay off :/ Time to stress on college apps along with that too :D

I’ve been busy (trying to fix my horrid sleeping schedule), so I haven’t been able to post about one of the greatest highlights of my life. On Sunday (7/26/15), I went with one of my best friends (Vivian) and experienced my first full band live concert. I went to the BTS Red Bullet Concert in LA and it was so awesome!! The boys were way better live, the crowd was awesome. I liked how everyone stood up almost the whole time, singing, screaming, and dancing along to the music. I felt like the ARMYs were one big family when the music cut off (after Jin did an awesome encore performance of I Need U) and we continued to sing, finishing off with a great “I NEED U GIRL.” Some unforgettable moments included the crowd’s anticipation for BTS to come on stage (I swear, everyone was so excited, it felt like we were jumping from any slight movement from the lighting director), the fact that we got some free goodies like the above pictures in line xD, singing along to every word of “Miss Right” and “I Like It” with every person in the audience, Suga showing off his aegyo, and of course, when Jimin flashed his abs (*nosebleed*). I loved the whole thing and all of the boys were so adorable. 10/10, will come again for episode III of The Red Bullet!!

I wonder if anyone will see this lol. This will be my personal blog that I will try to update but I’ve never been really good at keeping up with these things. So I’ll just introduce myself. At the moment, I’m 17 and I’ll be going into my senior year of high school. I’m Asian and right now, I’m into games (mostly League of Legends cause my friends play that with me, but I play some console games too), kpop, and anime!
