I know Kendra was having a time of it trying to take care of her kids hair. My ever evolving headcanon is that she's Choctaw- Irish so Airana, Aberforth, and Albus have really thick wavy to curly hair.

Ariana has disney princess level ringlets but was sensitive enough about detangling before getting traumatized beyond belief. So she has to spend half a Sunday on her hair.

You think since Aberforth had his cut short most of his life he'd be the least of her worries ever with him having the tightest curls out of the three but he's also the one who's outside 24/7.

Albus, though ever her little overachiever who takes wonderful care of it, stubbornly refuses to cut his hair not matter how improper it is for a young man of his age to walk round with, mary help her, waist length wavy hair. She is only able to get him to do something with it when she teacher's him traditional braiding techniques.
