Fuckers // Daphne & Kyle
Whatâs up, fuckers?
Um...not too much. I've considered weight lifting to get a bit bigger and shit. What about you?
Why... // Open
I was making fun of you. No one should take it personal. I make fun of everyone. Itâs a sport Iâm pretty good at since I suck and have no interest in team events.
Seriously though, when should I pencil you in and what do you do for a living Kyle? Do you have insurance?
((Kyle chuckled a bit. nodding to him.)) Well, I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
No insurance and I've got a bit of money saved up for emergencies like this.

Yeah I know. I just say shit dude. Itâs what I do. Porn Hub is the last place I spend my time. Itâs calledâŠjoking.
Someone needs an appointment with their eye doctor. Lucky for you I happen to be one. You should come to my office. Doc Evander, at your service.
Oh, yeah...sorry. I'm just used to people making fun of me so I get defensive. ((He said, smiling to the guy.)) Doc Evander? Awesome. I could use some new glasses. Well, new lenses more than frames. I'm Kyle, by the way. Kyle Finnbar.

If youâre gonna make sex noises do it the privacy of your home or wait until someone has their camera ready to shoot you for porn hub. Geesh. No manners at all.Â
If I ever have sex, I guarantee no one would make a porno of it. I wasn't really making sex noises, just annoyed. Some fucker shoved me and knocked my glasses off. They're all...scratched up. ((He said, holding up his glasses to the other man to show the scratches on the lenses.))
A million deaths AU || Nathaniel & Kyle
Just a few moments ago, everything seemed to be perfect. They had been traveling perfectly through the Solar System with every single system working at full function, but something had gone wrong, some drastic and now the spaceship was hurtling towards Venus with no hope of stopping. Maybe Nathaniel was to blame for spilling a hot cup of coffee over a wire, but that mind was soon evicted from his mind when he realized the wire was only to the hot water. With every alarm ringing in his ears and the noise of panic coarsing throughout the ship, he tried to figure out exactly what had gone wrong. Opening up the heart of the ship, he scanned his eyes over every single piece of equipment and wires which were located just below his feet. At that moment, the communicator buzzed, signalling a call. He was quick to jump up and pick it up before placing it to one ear and getting back down on the floor âYes, of course I realize the affect of this current situation. What do you think I am, dumb? Well no, I donât know what happened. No it isnât my fault. Because Iâm brilliantâ He screamed into the receiver over the alarms before slamming it onto the floor, breaking it into pieces âWhoopsâ He smiled to himself. Well at least nobody would be interrupting him again.  Â
After searching for the fault for ten minutes, he was quite satisfied that the reason for the crashing wasnât down to his department, which made him wonder who and what was to blame. He knew that he had to find out in order to repair the ship before it fell and killed every human being on the ship. He would of been panicking at this thought if it wasnât for the training which he had received before coming aboard the ship. He would of been lying if he said that he wasnât panicking a little bit, but of course he kept this well hidden from anyone that was around. Putting a mask around you was something that Nathaniel had learnt so many years ago in Camden, it was something which let you survive and after all these years, he wasnât going to let it fall now.
The ship was at a crucial period and Kyle's eyes were fixed on the hologram screen in front of him. All it kept saying was alert and the ship's steering system seemed to have shut itself down? A virus perhaps? He could feel the absolute terror racing through him as the slight atmosphere of Venus seemed to get closer and closer. "FUCK!" He screamed, seeing the co-pilot of the ship calling Nathaniel on the receiver in hopes the man would get in contact. Everyone seemed more pissed off and panicked than anything else...which was reasonable but Kyle's eyes were watering. What was going to happen...
Pulling the hands towards himself as much as he could, his co-pilot finally started to focus on what they were supposed to be doing: steering the ship. Speaking into the microphone to talk to P.O.S.E.I.D.O.N., he made sure to talk with as clear of a voice as he could. "Poseidon! Full status report on the back-up engines and the main rotors!" He called out, seeing the hologram screens in front of him scanning the ship's interior. Seeing as how a virus got into their main engine's motherboard, they started to panic. "POSEIDON! VIRUS CLEAN! PRONTO!" He called out, his breath becoming short while the ship started to scan and clean out what needed to be fixed while they kept hurdling towards Venus. "FUCK, WHERE'S NATHANIEL!" Kyle screamed out, pressing buttons on the holographic keyboard to find the main technician onboard.

My Own Worst Enemy // Cameron & Kyle
Again, the Imp was shocked at what the vampire did. He left a note for his victim. It was like he was asking to be slapped by his victim or Evangeline. He was risking exposure to the supernatural but that wasnât Cameronâs problem to care about. âIn case you havenât noticed, your entire existence is to turn people against their will. The age of Twilight isnât going to last long. Before you know it people want to become this or that and nobody will be happy to wake up as a vampire. This is why itâs much better to be an Imp. Obviously you didnât think when you signed on the dotted lines.â Cameron was caught between disapproval and surprised when Kyle admitted to knowing that the girl wanted to be a vampire. On the one hand heâs got the whole scouting your victims out but on the other hand he doesnât have the leaving them to their own devices part down. âYou know what you need? To learn how to let go of your feelings, honestly mate. You got about 50% of the job description down already.â
âJust because you move to a city full of people doesnât mean youâll grow the courage to do what you just did to strangers and then leave. Youâre asking for trouble by leaving your fucking address.â It had finally reached the point where Cameron pitied the boy. It was rare but Cameron felt the need to get this kid some self-esteem or a false sense of it. However, he wasnât touched by the way Kyle talked about caring for people. Cameronâs care for the human population ended hundreds of years ago and Kyleâs was rubbing Cameron the wrong way. âYeah? Howâs caring for your victims working out for you? Are they grateful when you remind them that they no longer can go outside when the sun is out? Are you glad that youâve ruined a life the same way yours was ruined? You donât even know who they have betrayed or the lives they ruined before their path crossed yours so why the hell do you have to care for them. Do what you need to do for you to survive. Fuck the rest of them. â
Cameron took a minute to recollect himself. After all these years, Cameron still carried Alexanderâs betrayal with him as a reminder of why he worked for Hell. âYou know what you need? Confidence. You know what would help? Wardrobe. Speech. Things money can buy. Lucky for you, Iâve got plenty. Consider me, your trust fund so that your sorry as can attract victims rather than stalk them in run down bookstores like this.â Money was never Cameronâs problem, and now he finally had a reason to spend it.Â
Kyle stood there, listening to him and feeling like he had done something wrong, but even then, the Imp only assumed he had written down his address. He never would do that since his place was a hole in the wall and half the time he was there and kept silent so people thought he wasn't there. "Why the hell would I give them my address? I gave her a note that listed places of where to find me and my name. That's it. I can be found here, or at the bar and the club. That's it. My place is off limits all the time. People say I should leave my fledglings to their own devices but most of them just end up in the sun anyway since they really don't know what's going on. People don't believe me when I tell them who and what I am because they think I'm playing some joke. I do it to offer my help but none of them fucking take it. People think I'm crazy and they just laugh." He said, his voice soft as he seemed to slump forward a bit and lessen his confidence. "All I want to do is be taken seriously and be appreciated...not laughed at." He told Cameron, trying to tell him what he was really thinking and wanting out of being a vampire. He could have been an Imp, sure, but he didn't want to be a demon or an Incubus. It was his decision and he stuck to it. "I'm sorry, really. I'm just not used to people actually having a serious conversation with me. I get too many jokes pulled on me just because of how I'm not intimidating in the slightest."
Hearing Cameron's offer of what to do, Kyle took it into consideration while being skeptical all at once. "So, if you help me change my appearance and help me learn to be more suave, it'll get me more victims and help me stay out of Hell for just a bit longer?" He asked, considering Cameron's offer since he really did need the help. He was barely scraping by but this seemed like a good opportunity to change all of that. "Do I owe you anything once you're done helping me? Like a debt of some sort? Maybe if I'm suave enough, I can double your numbers and my own by bringing you victims?" He asked, scratching the back of his head and trying to find a way to repay Cameron with what the man was offering. Kyle was pretty pathetic and Cameron seemed to have a legit way out of his awkwardness.
A Helping Hand // Kyle and Lorraine
After their previous talk about dressing up like vampires, Lorraine wasnât sure if the words coming out of Kyleâs mouth were a joke. Red, kind of thick depending on how much iron is in it. Lorraine couldnât help but scoff at his statement. Was this all a joke? Him coming over and pulling a fast one on the blind girl. Lorraine was could feel her cheeks heating up in anger but she kept the words bouncing around in her head to herself. The fact that he continued talking was his only saving grace. His words kept pouring out and with it came a tone of sincerity. If he was lying, he could laugh by now. She would if she was confessing to be a vampire. And then it hit her, maybe it was one of his ways of making her laugh. He did already state he was awkward. Maybe this is his awkward way of making a joke. Lorraine took a deep breath and pushed her anger away to let out a weak laugh.
âLook, you donât have to do this. I mean it might be funny at another time but right now itâs notâŠIâm sure there are other jokes we could try. Knock knock jokes are a good way to start off. And no, I donât want to feel your fangs.â Lorraine even made quotes with her fingers to emphasize his joke about being a vampire. âI mean I get it, Iâm blind so you want to seem cooler than you are or something but this isnât the best way really. Iâm sure thereâs a perfectly logical reason as to why youâre cold. And if I was offered food by a blind person I wouldnât eat it either so I get it.â The last part came out more as a whisper seeing as she was still offended by that. There is even a master chef that was blind but she wasnât going to bring up that fact. Lorraine awkwardly played with the fabric of her dress while she tried thinking of what else to say. âI-I wonât do that. Iâm not like that to just push you away because of one bad joke, come on. You just said Iâm sweet a minute ago.â She hated hearing the sound of rejection in his voice before she even said anything about rejecting him. âLook, letâs start all over. I mean we could totally pretend this didnât happen.â She stood up and extended her hand. âIâm Lorraine. Thanks for coming to help me with the decorations.â
As Kyle stood there, his heart sank as she seemed to get a bit angry and then give off a weak laugh. He would have thought she would have believed him but people seemed so skeptical. Sighing heavily and running his hands over his face, he figured that this wouldn't be a good time to let her know what he really was. He was having to turn people left and right to even stay in existence and telling a human was definitely not going to be the easiest task. "Fine, you caught me. Sorry...it's the spirit of Halloween, I guess? Trying to scare you and everything." He said, giving a soft laugh and looking her over. "It's not because you're blind, though. It's just me trying to get a laugh...I kind of suck at jokes. I mean, I can tell you a joke now if you want." He said, trying to make it up to her since she seemed utterly pissed a moment ago.
Seeing the hand being extended towards him, he shook it and nodded to her even though she couldn't see it. "I-I'm Kyle and you're welcome. I mean, that's all I wanted to do. I just wanted to help you." He said, his voice sounding a bit sad since they were getting along so well. "I'm really sorry, Lorraine, for offending you." He said in an apologetic tone, wanting to pull her into a hug but it didn't seem she wanted it. "Let's, um, get these decorations up. We can even dress up as whatever you want for that Halloween party. It's not my choice anymore. Did you still want me to scare people for your haunted house?" He asked, still wanting to help her since she had seemed to need it. Kyle felt horrible about what he had done even though it was definitely the truth. Maybe one day she'd believe him...maybe. He started moving around to pick up the stuff that fell, placing them on the couch to make sure everything was there.
I must be exhausted.
Usually I can at least boil pasta, but right now?Â
That's got to be hard. Did you want help?

Does the writing prompt last a week? Just curious since I'm waiting to see some activity from the person who plays Nathaniel Ivan.
What are you going to do now that you've introduced the supernatural world to a human?
I think I'm going to try and keep it between her and me? If not, I'm going to just step into the sun and take what's coming to me. I trust her, though. I think she can keep a secret.
A Helping Hand // Kyle and Lorraine
"Yeah, that sounds great. We could go look for Halloween costumes together. Youâre probably a lot more accurate at picking things out than I am. Iâll probably feel a superhero cape and think itâs for vampires." She sighed contentedly as she thought about the fun she would finally ave again. That little thought about going out again kept nudging the back of her mind but she managed to ignore it. She didnât want to dampen the mood with the story of how she got blind. However, the mood did seem to shift and Lorraine wasnât sure why.Â
When she heard iron rich she was already thinking of dishes with steak or maybe spinach if he was vegetarian. His next words concerned. âAre you allergic to things I mean I can work around that.â She said reassuringly. There was a family down the street that she visits often and their little boy was allergic to so much that it made her head spin the day they met. She knitted her eyebrows as she tried to make sense of what was going on. Maybe he wasnât a fan of people cooking for him. Or maybe he had a change of heart and just didnât want to be in the room with her. She really hoped the former was why she had to sit down.Â
She felt her way back into the living room and settled on the couch. She lifted her face toward the source of the sound and waited for whatever he had to tell her. Lorraine nibbled on her lower lips as she thought about what he had to say. Maybe he was being honest again and had something to say about how picky he was with food or some traumatic event he had with kitchens. She tried imagining what look he had on his face. It could be one of amusement as he got ready to recall a funny memory in the kitchen. It could have been one of nervousness as he tried to piece words together so that it wouldnât offend her. Whatever it was, Lorraine prepared herself as best as she could to the new he had in store.Â
He had skipped over the funny comment about what she said about the cape and of course skipped over the allergy thought which was also a good thing to keep in mind for other times he ran into humans. Though, right now, this would be the only time he'd run into a human that was absolutely sweet and kind. Kyle was finding it hard to bring his thoughts to words since this was something really big and probably would change her opinion on him. He only hoped and prayed that it wouldn't because this woman...she was so perfect. Gripping to his hands and keeping his eyes on her, he took a deep breath and opened his mouth to speak.
"I can't find a really logical way to explain this but I don't have food allergies. I'm not exactly able to eat food, actually. I have a very VERY specific diet that only lets me take in once type of nourishment. It's, um...a liquid. Red, kind of thick depending on how much iron is in it, and it's the only thing that keeps me alive. Well, existing since I'm not exactly living. Remember how cold my skin was when you touched it? I mean, it's pretty much night now and I'm able to run around. I-I'm...I'm a vampire, Lorraine. B-But it's not like I want to feed from you or turn you into one. I just wanted to tell you because you're so sweet and you don't need some asshole lying to you. If you want more proof..." He said, leaning over and pulling his lips up in order to feel the fangs that were now exposed. "You can touch my fangs. I also don't have a pulse. You can press on my artery on my neck if you don't believe me. I just can't lie to you. It's impossible."
"Look, I know you probably want to run off and scream or even shove me out the door. I'll definitely let you since I deserve it. People should be scared of me but I get laughed at by everyone...even my own kind. It's depressing as fuck and I just hope you're not going to shove me away." He said, his voice giving off a bit of a pleading town again since he really didn't want to lose Lorraine as a friend. She was the first girl to give him a chance in decades. Hell, he was surprised she wanted to talk to him and even let him inside of her home. Doubting himself, he took a deep breath despite the fact of not really needing it. Kyle looked around and ran his hands through his hair while groaning a bit before letting his hands fall to his sides again.
