Theodosia was waiting for his response, observing every emotion flash across his face. the brunette felt anxious, her nerves standing on end. it wasn’t often that she reached out to others, much less a boy.
when he spoke again, she perks up visually, like a flower beneath the sun. “alright, just makin’ sure, yanno.”
she tries to play it off cool, her arms crossing over her developing chest. “’cos if you ever need anythin’, even if we gotta steal it, I’m there for you.” was she that desperate for companionship, to lower herself to such means? “I wouldn’t want my new friend in a situation that could be dangerous, after all. if you need anythin’, you can always tell me.”
a smile reappears on her visage, as her hand rests against her stomach. “man, I’m starvin’!” she can hear and feel the growling sensation, rubbing her stomach gently. the girl hadn’t eaten breakfast, and now that it was later in the day…
“hey, let’s get somethin’ to eat! I think I have some more money, but if I don’t, I can always run back to my older sis ‘n she’ll give me more.” she reassured the male, smiling as she looks through her bag. sure enough, there seemed to be enough money for one meal.
“aha! now our options are to either eat out at a cafe, or…” she grins wider. “my sister runs a lil diner not far from here! how’s that sound?” she doesn’t really wait for his response, already grabbing his hand. “great! we’ll save money by eatin’ there! ‘n yer doggy…”
she turns to look at the animatronic, her hand reaching out to pet it’s mechanical face. “can come in too. we allow emotional support ‘n workin’ animals in our restaurant. one time, a lady came in with a miniature pony! isn’t that great?”

He didn’t like those crimson - blooded vampires. Those were the vampires that hurt and exiled his own father; simply because of the moon that had shone the night they were born. And yet, SOMEHOW it was difficult for him to imagine a child committing such atrocities.
Although ... the lingering thought remains in the back of his mind. What WOULD she think if she knew of his story ? What WOULD she think if she knew that he was the Kin of the Blue Moon ?
What would have happened if he told her the truth ?
The mention of food and a touch between his hand and her own gloved hands pulled him from his thoughts; just as she would pull him along the streets of Paris. She hadn’t really waited for an answer for him but ... he WAS kind of hungry.
‘ That DOES sound great, Mademoiselle Theo ! It sounds really nice there ! ‘
Especially now that he won’t have to use the five finger discount again today.
