I know that the twilight saga is divisive with vampires but personally, I found the portrayal of our kind deeply fascinating. Especially regarding love.

Vampire love is dangerously intense. You pick up on their scent, and your whole world shifts. You feel this burning, excruciating craving to feed. To share your most raw, carnal self to them. To pierce them with your fangs as they get drunk with euphoria is the greatest joy.

When I first psychically fed on him, my universe became whole. We fell in sync, our worlds beautifully intertwining. We both get to experience the most intimate side of love, sharing your very life essence.

If someone so much as looks at him, I'm on high alert.

Terminology is Weird..

I'm not the best with terminology, so I tend to get confused on what terms are applicable to my experience. I am a vampire. I actively feed and crave life energy, and do have supressable blood cravings. I am hyper aware of my surroundings, have predator instincts, face great discomfort in the sun, etc. However, I do face human limitations that others of my kind do not. My soul screams vampiric, it cannot fathom being human. Yet, my form inherently has human characteristics. Are these just human traits that I, as a vampire experience? That's at least my view on it. I have sour feelings on this vessel being referred to as human. I inhabit this form, and I am a vampire.

Therefore, this is not a human body. Maybe i had past lives as a vampire, but I currently live as one.

Does that still make me otherkin? Alterhuman? Or just a vampire..

It's so fascinating seeing human interpretations of vampirism. Consuming media portraying my kind is a great comfort, it fills that social void of not meeting others of my kind.

The cycle of the moon heavily effects me. During the full moon, I feel the furthest away from humanity. I want to sprint into the woods, listening to the trees. I register every sound, honing in on my prey. My fangs bared, a growl ripping through my throat. The forest is a blur as I dart off, starting the chase.
