Van Cat Meow

This is the story of a rescue cat that travelled Australia in a camper van and the human that made it possible

#caturday is for having a bath in the sun. 😺 Even on cold mornings it doesn't take too long for the van to warm up nice and cosy. 🌅 I used to have suction-on solar shields for the back windows but I recently sewed up some curtains. I used heat block fabric as backing so they do a great job of insulating. But the coolest thing about them is that on clear nights when I have the van parked just right I part them a little bit and stare at the Milky Way until I can't keep my eyes open any longer 🌌🏞🌠

I love, love, LOVE watching a good storm come in. Last week I set up the goPro on time lapse to capture this, silly me didn't secure it down so it got knocked over the moment the storm hit cutting the time lapse short. 😺!Breaking News!😺After a 10 hour nap at the back of the van, Willow has made the arduous journey to the front of the van to watch the last of the sunset. How long she will spend there who knows but I suspect she might let me know it's dinner time pretty soon 😺❤️

Today Willow is doing what she does best, absolutely nothing. Can you see the tattoo in her right ear? I'm not sure how they do it in other countries, but this is to mark that she has been desexed.

~ 😺❤️ Willow's fast asleep and her whiskers keep twitching! I think she might be having little nightmares about climate change and sea levels rising.
