Yes, of course!! I appreciate and understand the natural world. After all, we wouldnāt be here without it.
Fair point. I like nature. It makes me sneeze a lot, though.

graham:
I mean, if youāre really starting to regret it this early on you could always start studying? Make up timetables and a list of goals? All that productive stuff education experts recommend. I wish I had better advice to give, but Iām a college student who still falls back on cramming to this day.Ā
Thatās a suggestion that I know is logical but I donāt particularly want to do it either. I think all college students do. Itās like, a rule.
honey:
There you go, then! That would be a wonderful start. The beach has long been held as a place of healing and rejuvenation, perhaps you might go there.
Has it really? Iāll be damned. You super into nature?
graham:
Thatās the great thing about summer! If youāre like I was and refused to make any summer plans before break for the sake ofĀ āgoing with the flowā, youāll have time for video games and whatever other important stuff you think of later⦠Or cram it all into the last couple weeks, either is viable.Ā
Well, I cram when I study so I may as well stay consistent throughout the year! Though Iām starting to think I shouldāve paced myself a little bit.
honey:
If it gives you a sense of accomplishment, then itās the best use of time. What better do you plan to do instead?
Iāve never felt more accomplished in my life. I donāt. Maybe go outside?
Itās my last summer as a high schooler and I feel like it should be slightly more interesting so far, but really all Iāve done is play through all my video games again. Which is probably cool to some, but I can do better.
marie:
Some of us manage it well enough but I understand if youāre not up to the task. Perfection isnāt for everyone.
You know me, anything past 75% is just overdoing it.
beck:
Yes, yes I am! Thatās nice, do you still go to Dalton or have you graduated as well? I- did he talk to you about that?Ā
Iām a senior, so Iām almost there. No, I meant you and me, we talked about me being in the Warblers. Sorry, that was kind of unclear.
beck:
Exactly, works for most people. I relate to that last part- well not exactly me but my soulmate- Iām sure he would say the same thing.Ā
Oh, right, Ā youāre Sebastianās soul mate, right? I was in the Warblers with him. I think we talked about that but you hadnāt shacked up with Seb yet. Howās that going?
beck:
Of course, itās not a problem! That way you know your efforts are appreciated and you feel more like trying to keep up with your resolution, I think. At least thatās how it has worked for me
Ah, positive reinforcement and all that. I definitely respond pretty well to that. Any stroke to my ego is the way to go.
dane:
Is there a reason you want to be a neater person?
Iām pretty messy and thatās pretty annoying to myself and others. Thatās about it, really.
margot:
I read once that if you pick up 3 things in your room in a day in time it just never gets really dirty again, just a tip that might help you keep up with your resolution. I havenāt practiced it myself but Iām usually a mess anyway so thereās no hope for my room. I focused on other goals for the year.
Thatās a good idea, thank you for the tip. Iām pretty messy so I canāt imagine anything involving me picking something up from the floor would be detrimental to my cause. Oh yeah? Like what?
marie:
If those are your standards, then silly me for suggesting a maid.
I canāt have high standards in all aspects of my life, thatād be way too exhausting.
beck:
I think itĀ“s every momĀ“s dream to make that Ā New Years resolution. IĀ“m not even that messy and she still tells me off all the time for having my room aĀ āmessā according to her. But congrats on that! Itās definitely progress.
In my momās head, Iām a total neat freak. It always shocks her that Iām not. Seems like a mom thing. Hey, thanks. Finally someone appreciates my efforts.
marie:
By this point, you should probably just admit defeat and bring in some professional help.
That seems a bit drastic. All the trash is in my trash can and although nobody else would be able to find some of my stuff, I know where it is.
My resolution for 2014 was to be neater in my dorm room. Though I donāt think Iāve succeeded to my momās standards, Iām pleased to say that all of my dirty clothing ends up at least within a foot of my hamper. Progress!
marley:
Oh! Hey, Vance. Iā¦Wow. Thank you so much. I wish you the best of luck as well. Iām sure you guys are going to do really great. You always do.
Donāt sound so surprised. Winning is cool and all but not all of us find glee club comparable to war. Well, we try our best. I have to admit, though I love the blazer, Iām a little jealous that you all get to switch it up at every competition.
