I've understood that there will always be persons that will love you unconditionally and others that will hate your guts, just simply because they are afraid of you or of what you represent to them.
Yes, I've been lost before, trying hard to figure out why I was different from other girls, but only to realize I ain't different at all. I do the same things, I sleep and wake up, I went to school, made friends, got a work, I sport and go out with friends, I laugh and I cry, and most of all I LOVE.
Seeing any difference yet? Yup me neither.
And why I am any different when I can't help falling in love? Didn't you fell in love before? Could you help it? Or maybe you really didn't want to fall in love with that person but you did anyway right?
So would it be strange to you if I say that I can't help it too?
We meet tons of people throughout our life, though just a little few give us that sparkle.
Do you consider I am so different just because I can't really help it but to fall for a girl instead of a boy?
Does that make me so different from others that they can say anything to me? Hurtful things? No, I don't think so. I'm still a person with feelings and it does hurt, specially from the persons we hold close to our hearts. Yes, even in that we are alike. We have friends, persons we trust, persons we would do anything to help.
Believe me if we could "choose" like so many like to say, why would we choose to live a hard life as this? Always hiding because someone can see you hold hands with the person you love on the street and attack you - verbally or physically. Not being able to caress, kiss or hold her, without everyone looking your way and make a face.
No, we do not choose to live like this, like you don't choose to love a woman or a man, it's natural to you to fall in love with the opposite sex (assuming you are hetero) or the same sex (if you are gay). It's not our fault to fall in love, like it is not yours when you do.
Brace yourself and accept what you are so you can be free, and think of others before you say or do something hurtful. Remember, we are like you, persons.
I hope that with this I can change some points of view, and even if it is one or two, it's worth it.
