Being an artist that regularly needs cons to have a good part of my income in my country is so fucking frustrating, I literally wanna cry

My previous con sucked so bad on sales and even being a local one I barely managed to pay for my costs, there was a literally fire incident, the food was terrible, the tables did not even had the numbers on the map they promised us with NO STAFF AROUND, mind you...

And now one of the biggest cons I was counting on simply cancelled on us with 7 DAYS before the actual con day... Yikes. I lost so much money :(

The disrespect the organizers has for its artists, the ones that keep such beautiful culture alive, disgusts me :( I love my home but the way artists are mistreated even though they are the 80% of the cons and events income just makes my blood boil.

Honestly I might just start annoucing my Vgen around and starting an online shop, I literally cannot deal with this crap anymore.
