more often than not, it’s the little details decided about a muse that keep them developing over time. for the next 2 tasks, you will be defining some seemingly insignificant information about them ! individually, they won’t mean much, but when they’re added together, they paint a bigger picture.

answer the following question using as much detail as possible !

THEIR PHONE:

what kind of phone do they have? how do they like it?

have they ever had to change their phone number? why? 

what is their phone’s lockscreen? homescreen?

their standard ringtone? their text tone, if its special?

do they prefer texting or calling? do they receive more texts or calls? how often do they check their voicemail? 

what kind of texters are they? do they use emojis often? emoticons? proper grammar? 

the top 5 most used people in their contacts? 

any games on their phone? what kind? how often do they play?

THEIR HOME:

describe their home? apartment building or detached house? how many rooms? color scheme? any notable decor? 

what are their neighbors like? do they get along? have they met?

do they read newspapers/magazines? what kind? what are they interested in? 

how do they drink their coffee or tea? do they need it to function? 

any pictures on their walls or in their home? what kind? of who?

are their closets, pantries, and other storage areas chaotic or organized? 

what’s their cleaning routine? do they do laundry? dishes? clean the rooms? do they cut corners or thoroughly clean? 

who has key access to their home?

DIGGING DEEPER:

what are the contents of their wallet?

what’s usually in the pockets of their pants, jackets, or bag? 

how many keys do they carry on them? what are they for? do they have any keychains? 

what kind of jewelry do they wear? what’s their favorite piece? any sentimental pieces?

what do their bedsheets look like? colors, patterns, etc? what’re they made out of? are they clean or dirty? changed regularly?

color of your muse’s underwear right now? if more than one piece, do they match?

thank you for a really, really fun summer and fall run. but with school work and work-work piling up and with a string of really hateful, disrespectful encounters both on and off anon - we’re gonna do what’s best for us and close it here. it might not have always looked like we did a lot but with tour dates, dares, tasks, events, etc on top of regular updating (where we tend to fall short, we both know) -  many, many hours were put into it by the end. we both really enjoyed putting in the work for this place but we don’t find it fair to put in a huge effort into a rp where we’re attacked. the large majority of you were actually very kind and understanding to us, and we can’t apologize enough for letting you down, but there comes a point where we have to put our mental health first ! while we’re frustrated with certain things that have gone down, we’re not angry with anyone; we’re not closing the rp to get away from the people who are in the rp, it’s just the negative stuff we’ve received has tainted our devotion / willingness to be mods. we’ll remember this group as one of our best - especially member wise. and we’ve modded a lot of rps over the past few years, so that comes with high praise from us, we promise !

what kind of makeup does your muse use? favorite colors? do they wear a lot or a little?

EXPLORING THEIR BODY:

does your muse have any scars? where? what do they look like? how did they get them?

any freckles/moles/birth marks? where?

are their fingernails dirty or clean? cut or long? painted or bare?

how much do they weigh? are they happy with it? do they actively try to maintain or change it?

are there any ‘weird’ characteristics on their body? (such as one arm or leg being longer than the other or being double jointed?) is there anything on them they can’t explain?

do they have more muscles or more fat on their body?

any tattoos? where? what’re the stories behind them?

OPEN THEIR CLOSET:

what clothes do they sleep in?

do they have a favorite article of clothing? a lucky article? an unlucky article?

what do they wear when they’re working? how about when they’re not?

how many pairs of shoes do they have? what types are found? are there any they wear all the time? some they don’t ever wear? how about purses or bags?

how long do they need to decide what to wear? do they pick out their outfits in advance or wing it when they get ready?

do they shop for clothes open? how much do they usually spend on clothes? how about shoes? accessories?

maybe you should've gotten to the inbox when it was there? like 3 days with nothing makes me wanna drop from this group since the mods went inactive so plots or requests can't be filled.

the mods didn’t go inactive. we posted numerous times that we’d be away for a few days. i mentioned being sick, and i’ve actually been battling a pretty gnarly bacterial infection. i’m well aware that my own activity was lacking even before i became ill, and that’s because i’m currently in the final stages of research for my undergraduate thesis !! keep in mind that mod jack has a full-time job and was enjoying a much needed and well-deserved vacation. 

the constant swarm of nasty anons we’ve been getting lately has made us feel really underappreciated. roleplaying is a hobby, something we do in our spare time. it’s supposed to be fun. i’m really sorry that updating the main more than twice a day hasn’t been my number one priority. i really am. but i think it’s important to realize that we both have very busy lives outside of this game. living, breathing, human beings run this place and it seems as though some of you have forgotten that. my apologies if this post seems harsh, but maybe take a few extra seconds to think about sending a message like this again. it’s really unnecessary.
