Powers/Abilities: On-contact healing abilities. Can touch a person and heal them. It’s easier if he’s touching the injury directly, but he doesn’t have to be. The rest of his power is the flipside of that coin - when he heals someone, he takes that pain and stores it, and he can download it into someone else. The pain lasts no more than fifteen minutes in another person, maximum. If he doesn’t get rid of the pain he’s downloaded by healing others, he has to deal with it himself in the form of long-lasting, but less severe body aches until the pain he’s stored is all used up.
Occupation: Vantage Records Department - their only employee.
Personality: Stubborn, but extremely loyal. If you need someone to confide in and keep a secret, he’s your guy. He’s got a dry sense of humor and tends towards sarcasm. Sometimes he comes off as prickly, especially if he thinks he’s being unnecessarily coddled or talked down to. He doesn’t like to rely on other people, and is only comfortable doing so with close friends. Fiercely independent.
- He’s blind, and has been since birth. He has no sight at all, and wears sunglasses to cover his eyes because he’s been told they’re a little unsettling to look at, as his irises/pupil are all fogged over.
- Uses a lot of braille in his job which is record keeping for Vantage. He’s the only employee in the records department because he can’t actually see the paper records that Vantage keeps, and it requires significant clearance to get down to said records room. He uses a braille label maker on the files and incoming papers to sort them.
- He knows that Vantage is shady and that he’s the one guy in the records room because he can’t read what they get up to, but he works for them anyways because the economy’s tough. He stays in his lane and minds his business.
- Uses a tapedeck as a memopad, and has various tapes/audio journals in his home that he organizes. He’s also a fan of audio books.
- Recently he’s acquired a 3D pen so he can jot notes down in braille. He’s pretty stoked about it.
- Loves good food, but surprisingly doesn’t eat a lot of it. A combination of being tired from work and depression. He eats cold tomato soup from those to-go cups for lunch and it sucks. His office doesn’t have a microwave, he doesn’t like it cold.
- The records department is cold so he can get away with wearing multiple jackets at any given time and he does. He likes to be cozy.
