Ice Skating on Two Wheels - Racing the Thaw Thaw Thursday? Frozen Friday? Icy trails, squeaky brakes, and a 3 hour training ride cut short due to warming temperatures. When the exposed ground was no longer frozen, it was time to make an exit.

Great day on two wheels with lots of smiles. Took yesterday off due to some oral surgery. Back at it today for an easier ride.
There may have been muddy roads, but we were more than happy to take advantage of the lack of snow and temperatures above freezing.

Then I figured I would try to shoot some video... .and this is the result! This piece is on exhibit at the National Gallery of Art and Sculpture Garden on the mall in Washington DC.

After a few warmup intervals, this was the long interval at the end of the session. The goal was 5 minutes, but I blew up at 4:30. It's been fun watching the gains and improving while competing against myself.
