Hello-hello, we are a team working to bring you our narrative podcast "Road to Moscow". It's been three years since the pre-production has started and even more years since the idea first appeared. What making an indie project feels like...

(Week results April 19th ft. Val Worlds and Chanel)

Hi, Valerij Worlds here. Those past two weeks have been bones crushing. I think I might've chosen a wrong strategy as a showrunner, but that's okay, because I am still learning. Who would've guessed doing a big project where one person does 95% of the work (as of now) doesn't always go according to plan?

The good news is: I think "Road to M*****" will start coming out this summer. I don't have a date yet, but it's likely to be somewhen in July.

For now, I want to focus on making RtM content, especially for YouTube and short format to grow the audience before the release

Week results 29.03.26

OVERALL: 16/29 episodes edited

Hi! Val Worlds here to say we edited 13-16 as planned which means first half of the editing is done. Which also means recording is getting closer. I also finally found a VA for one of the empty roles, very excited to work with her!

I think I have a release date in mind and if everything goes according to plan, it'll be announced soon :)

Plans for this week (A Lot):

– Record & post a little something for yt🤫

– Check what podcasting platforms we can get it on right away

– Send materials to three potential VA's

– Edit episode 17

OVERALL: 13/29 episodes fully edited

Valerij Worlds reporting live: editing episode 13 was hellish, I did not expect that. Sometimes as a writer you just have to pull through and that was it for me.

Hi! Val here. I can't believe we finished editing episode 11... to be honest, I still want to add minor alterations to it, but that's nothing compared to how hard to write it was for me. Yet, I think it's one of my favorite entries so far.

Goal for the next week: rewrite and edit episode 12

OVERALL: 9/29 episodes fully edited

Valerij Worlds here. This was a rough week. We edited episodes 7-9 as planned, but not 10. We are entering the hard part of the editing process because some of the episodes in the middle of season 1 are the oldest ones written (season's draft wasn't written chronologically). Basically at this point it's not editing, but full-on rewriting. On the other hand, some of my favorite events happen in this part of the season

Hi! Valerij Worlds here to tell you about this week results. It was not as exiting as the previous one, but we did everything planned:

– Edited episodes 4 & 5

– Rewrote and edited episode 6

– Worked on the soundtrack

Goals for the next week: edit episodes 7-9, rewrite and edit episode 10

OVERALL: 3/29 season one episodes fully edited

Hi, Valerij Worlds here. We thought it would be nice to post small weekly overviews so that you see the work is being done. So, here I am. Most of the work is currently done by me solo, here's what I did this week:

– Worked on the soundtrack, but did not like a lot of it (I'm only learning) and discovered two new plugins to try out

– Finally figured out the way to rewrite episode 6 (it has been bothering me for months)

– Started actively posting on socials (hi)

Apart from that my editor checked episodes 4 and 5, now I only need to finish editing them

Goals for next week: finish editing episodes 4 and 5, finish working on episode 6 and discuss it with the editor for final changes

im curious, does road to moscow have central transfem characters?

Thank you for the ask! Yes, one of the key characters in season two is transfem, they make a brief appearance in season one as well

about how many episodes do you anticipate the show getting ? Is the whole plot already planned out ?

Very excited for the first episode, the show sounds so interesting and I can't wait !! ::]

Season 1 has 29 episodes, season 2 and 3 will be longer, but we don't have the exact number. Talking about the plot, we know exactly where we start and where we end and most things in between, but some details still need clarification (such as background character arcs)
