Dating Vecna would include:
• You start off by being one of his victims at first, but he had decided to lure you in by showing up in his human form. You’d be inside of the library that wasn’t particularly busy when it had happened. “That’s a good book.” You turn to face him and blush immediately by his appearance. “Don’t worry, I won’t spoil the ending.”
• No one doesn’t notice the trance like state you’re in. Even during the first encounter, and he knows no one will notice you since you’ve always been the outcast- even more of an outcast than Mike and his friends. “You seem to be the only one who gets me” you say as you sat beneath the grass while looking at the stars. “That’s because I am.”
• When you’re not in the Vecna trance, he’ll flicker your lights as a way to show that he’s still very much present. He finds it endearing that it frightens you
• A lot more spiders start to show up, which you let crawl all over your skin. Never did he bring the ones that would harm you, since if he lost you-
• “You’ve come quite acquainted with my friends here” he would say softly as the two of you would be cuddling together at night. “I love them. It’s like a piece of you Is always here with me.” Your very blinded by love to realize the full picture
• He loves watching a film with you and eating popcorn. Makes him think of the life he could’ve had if he hadn’t been stuck in the Upside Down
• You two listen to music together and slow dance a lot! It’s one of his favorite things to do with you as theirs a black rose in your hair as you two sway
• So if you’re not super into sex, he wouldn’t mind since he’s far more interested in cuddling with you anyways. He’s the big spoon of course (shout out to my fellow asexual this one’s for you!)
• If you do- when you’re actually out of the trance, you still feel the soreness of what had occurred
• You’re frightened when your house gets destroyed by the Upside Down bits, but he’s there- Vecna’s there. “H-Henry?” You stumbled back out of instincts, but your morbid curiosity is getting the best of you. He’s holding a dead rose in hand for you, reaching it out in hopes you’d accept it
This is an experiment to see if there really are as few of us as people think.You can also use this to freak out your followers who think you’re 25 or something. Yay!

Okay, so. I got two separate asks about (over) sexualizing Jamie. I’m going to gather my thoughts into one post.
I do think there’s a problem with over-sexualizing him in public, especially places where he can see it and probably be a bit weirded out. It’s all… a lot. People take it really far in uncomfortable ways, but this isn’t exclusive to his fandom.
People have gotten very comfortable talking about celebs in a highly sexualized way. This has been around for a long time, but social media definitely shines a new light on it. People enable and encourage one another and it makes them bolder.
And I think the disconnect between celeb and fan makes it feel “okay” because it’s not someone you actually know being impacted. It’s easier to do when there is a wall and sense of detachment.
It does feel weird to see personal/non-character pics of him with RAW ME style comments. If people want to do that, that’s their prerogative. It’s simply not my style to publicly post those thoughts.
That being said, one of the asks was about smut/erotica about characters he has played which I feel is a different beast entirely.
They’re his characters, not him. He has also - quite literally - recorded audio porn. Because no matter how you spin it, Quinn is porn. It is marketed as porn. The whole appeal is it being porn.
So, like, I don’t think it’s bad to sexualize characters, especially with an actor who literally took a job that’s designed to get people off.
He has done character work (not himself!) that involves sexual acts. He knows how audiences will react to that. Characters like Henry aren’t inherently sexual, but it comes with the territory.
Personally, I think there’s a divide between “sexualizing the person” and “sexualizing the character”. It’s a very thin line, but it exists.
I know people won’t agree with me, but there’s my thought process.

The (over) sexualization of Jamie is really disturbing, at least I experience it that way. Of course, he’s a well known actor and a good looking man, so some simping naturally happens. But what’s lately happening is not normal! When I look at Jamie I see a human being who happens to be a star, but is still *gasp* just a human being. Don’t get me wrong, I would LOVE to have a cup of coffee with him, just to chat and ask some questions. (And a personalized in character audio file would be… Ugghh 🥰).
Yeah, I’m very much into that character he played, but for me this doesn’t have to do with Jamie himself!
Just a thought: How would you react if Jamie was a woman and it was a whole bunch of men making such comments? Hm?
Remember that he is just human, like me and you.
Simp over his characters all you want, all power to you. But stop dehumanising Jamie. Thanks.
