Vash blinked. ''Well... what does it look like~?'' He grinned.
Vash frowned towards the big man. Of course, they stayed pretty much neutral towards each other, due to their little run-in several years back. ''You do realize that I have to stop you if you cause too much trouble around these parts... Right?''
“What? Lil’ ol me?” Gasback hadn’t been expecting this. He wasn’t exactly fond of the other outlaw, and he was itching to even the score… But years take a toll on a regular human body, and he was honestly a little tired from all the trouble. “Don’t worry your little head,” he scoffed. “I don’t have a little ‘team’ like I used to.” Didn’t mean he’d wouldn’t try. “I’ll try to not cause too much trouble.” He added that last part with a little honesty.
Vash narrowed his eyes a little bit at the other male, noticing the flippant attitude.''Fine. And if I recall, it was kinda your fault your teammates abandoned you..? But that turned out better for people anyways.. At least for awhile.''
A mischievous grin was briefly on the man’s face before it faded. ”I guess to simply make the day more special in a sense. And look out!” He pointed to the sky in alarm, where a non-existent arrow was heading straight for Wolfwood. ”An arrow!!!”
''A--ACK!! H..Hey...!'' Vash yelled out in terror, his arms flailing as his friend hit him around. ''IS THIS NECESSARY!?''

"A couple? Really? REALLY?! I’m gonna kick that sheriff’s balls clean out his throat!!"
”…And?” Vash hmmhed sadly, before hesitantly holding out his left arm out to his friend. ”…Fine, fine. And huh, why are you so defensive over it then, if you don’t…?” He was genuinely curious.
Wolfwood simply gave Vash a swat to the back of his head, proceeding to poke at different parts of the mechanical arm. He needed a piece long and thin, but hopefully removable. Or at least, easy to repair or unneccessary. Wouldn’t do to mess something up in this intricate system and have Vash’s hidden gun go haywire.
"I ain’t defensive, you were jus’ bein’ a moron."
Vash huffed, rubbing back of his head with a whine. ”You sure seemed to be defensive…. Sorry for reading you in a bad way, geez..” He blinked at what what Wolfwood was doing with it, and he twitched slightly. ”Careful where you poke around in there. I’m screwed until further notice if you manage to bust it!” A brief look of defeat crossed over his face.

"Do you have any idea how much harassment people can get away with before the diner’s owner lets me beat ‘em with a table?!"
Vash blinked, leaning a little bit more away from Wolfwood. ''That's too bad... And GAH! Why'd he let you do that!?'' he sighed, before continuing, ''You could have just told him to let you take a break... I'm sure he would have given you one. One to stretch your muscles..''

''Yes... this male has been chosen..'' A deep powerful voice resonated throughout the dark, black atmosphere.
''We'll have to fill him in with details later. Keep that in mind.'' An equally deep voice, yet a bit softer, rang out.
''Yes I am aware of that.''
Then the voices stopped, silence eclasping within the void.

The world shifted slightly, colors and the environment being mismatched for only a flicker of a second. The red-coated man didn't even notice, as he continued to trek across the seemingly endless clear environment, devoid of other life. ''Ar... g...h ... Isn't the next town here yet...?'' He muttered to himself, nearly falling over.
He had only been traveling for a few hours now, but his water supply was horrendously getting low. Hell, he was sure it evaporated at some point... It wouldn't have had surprised him. His water was filled up before he had gotten out of the car of a friendly stranger's. They had even told him the town wasn't far off... Were they lying? They must have been. Sigh.....
He titled his head to the side.
And he had spent nearly $$100 for that ride.
A saddened expression came across his face briefly. That almost made him entirely broke. Had only a good $$25 left. Well.... That could get him a good sandwich, and a good drink? At least he supposed, anyways. Still in his musings, he froze in his steps, glancing out towards....
What appeared to be a building. And another building.
His mood instantly lit up, a grin now on his face, and he raced over to the newly discovered town. ''SALVATION~!''He screamed, giving some of the townsfolk to give him a few odd stares as he entered.
"Long story short, Evil God. Here to drive you all mad and swallow your souls."
”Uhh… ANy particular way to, you know…stop you?” Vash laughed nervously, while smiling at Cthulhu.
Vash shrunk back from the table he was sitting at. ''Uh... What if I ask you nicely, would you go away...?'' Yeahhh, he doubted it, but it wouldn't hurt to try, right...?
