Dude HOW did you get so good at drawing??? I’ve been drawing like every year of my life and I feel like I’m not even close to the style I want. The artstyle I wanna achieve is honestly inspired by You & Tac-Bat, but it’s not even remotely close. If you’re willing, literally any advice or tips will help I’m so close to quitting art LOL

Now… for the advice part… Honestly the way i got better at my art was leaving my comfort zone. Leaving your comfort zone and exploring different things like semi realism or even realism can really help develop your art style! I recommend learning anatomy for artists. A person i highlyy advise watching is proko on youtube. He honestly helped me shape my artstyle and improved my understanding of anatomy. Also dont be discouraged. The one thing you cant do is discourage yourself. Art is not a linear process. Theres highs and lows… and for me there were a LOT of lows. For my art style specifically I specialize in semi-realism. I exaggerate poses, which helps me pump out drawings faster without worrying about every little anatomy mistake. There will always be a mistake in anatomy because everyone’s anatomy is different. Don’t be discouraged when you see something small off with your drawing, its all apart of the process. I also recommend learning gesture drawing. It helps you find the line of action in a pose very quickly, and can really help with entering your flow state as an artist. Art should be something fun not something taxing. Sure there will be things you dont like here and there but the main purpose is to have fun. Again thank you so much for sending this and i appreciate you a lot. Holy moly im so glad you feel this way and im happy it makes u feel better about being nb. I hateee when people think of nb people as just androgynous people. Its perfectly fine to be masculine looking or femme looking at the end of the day you are still nb!!
