Es machte mich wahnsinnig und gleichzeitig war es das einzige, das mich bei Verstand hielt. Das stetige Tropfgeräusch erinnerte mich daran, dass ich mich in der Realität befand – irgendwo gefangen zwischen Himmel und Hölle. Tropf, tropf, tropf, … Himmel oder Hölle? Ich zählte die Tropfen. Zählte, wie oft das Wasser auf dem Steinboden aufklatschte und die Zelle, in der ich zitternd kauerte, feucht hielt. So feucht, dass ich an manchen Tagen das Gefühl hatte zu ertrinken.

Ich ertrank. Und was ich für Manipulation hielt, wurde für mich zu einer Realität, der ich nicht mehr entfliehen konnte. Oder … wollte.
