The witch was caught off guard by the question- she chuckled, almost nervously. “Someone like me? I- Do quite a bit of research on herbal remedies, so coming here and working- well It’s something I enjoy doing…”

Her golden eyes didn’t make contact with Stein’s but her face remained still and unfazed by the question. She was too good at keeping her cover, and she wasn’t about to blow it.

"Oh?" He kept his gaze to the woman unlike her and notice her avoidance in eye contact.

He chuckles seeing her that way. The mad doctor was never been amused by a woman.

"He he..it’s cute.." He remarks. @vectorbitch

Medusa went a bit red. “What? Oh no, I’m not…cute.” She chuckled and looked at him, finally meeting Stein’s emerald gaze. “But- I digress… Given your appearance, I assume you dabble in medicine as well?” The witch inquired, suddenly much more interested in the man.

He chuckles at her remark and holds his screw, tilting his head to the side slightly. "He he, so this screw makes me a medical professional eh?"

"No no, I was looking more at the lab coat and stitches." Medusa corrected, continuing to look Stein up and down. Her observations were that Stein was smart, strong, and...a little crazy- and she liked it.

Medusa, the snake witch with a bad reputation took an undercover position as the school nurse at the DWMA. She played the role of sweet and supportive nurse, and no one suspected her thanks to her powerful soul protect. She did her work, and research on a liquid known as black blood on the side. Her true identity went fully unnoticed by lord death, and she liked it that way.

Doing nothing more than absent-mindedly filling out papers, Medusa sat at her desk. The room was silent, no students or faculty filled up any of the beds. The only sound was pen scratching on paper as she wrote.

She was taken aback when the door clicked open. Her head turned to meet the gaze of a stitched up man with a screw in his head. Medusa waved his apology down and smiled. “Oh, you’re not intruding at all. What can I do for you?”

The silver haired man with a large bolt on his head released the knob of the door as he takes a step in the clinic.

From first glance, Franken felt a a peculiar aura around her. 'Have I seen her before?' He thinks suspiciously and shook his head to shove this off.

He is often cautious. Living alone made him distant to the rest and untrusting. This is what he thought.

Since he entered in the academy, he tries to disband that mentality of his and start a new image. An image to be likened by most. But nevertheless, he can’t do it that quick. His mad side wouldn’t agree anyway.

As he looks around, he examines the changes made since he last visited to the present.

"Wow ~nothing much has changed.

Mind if I stay here too?” He replies.

Medusa watched the man as he stepped inside. She felt something about him- he was strong. The witch almost felt- Unsafe- around him- in fear that her cover would be blown by this man.

But nonetheless, Medusa acknowledged that he seemed to know his way around. So- He was by no means ‘new’ just…new to her.

"Of course, please, make yourself comfortable." Medusa smiled and stood up, kindly offering him her chair. "I- I don’t think I’ve seen you before-" Medusa spoke straightening up the papers on her desk.

Franken moves on to the clinic chair and sat on a saddle like position with his arms crossed over the back rest.

"…I’m Franken Stein," says with his emerald eyes dart onto her hazel eyes.

He introduces himself since it is their first meeting. He didn’t know why he felt some sort of familiarity with her somewhere.

Medusa leaned up against the wall, her arms still folded over her chest. She looked Stein up and down. His odd aura never lifting from her thoughts. She kept her guard up.

"Medusa Gorgon. I’m the school nurse here." She spoke calmly, though her golden gaze never left the man. "I don’t believe I’ve seen you before…A new professor?" She inquired, raising a brow towards him.

"Right."

He gave a nod to her remark. True that he is new with his teaching career as he was just recruited a day before.

"And I haven’t seen you before here either.." He reciprocates, sitting still on the chair looking at her.

Hus uneasy feeling soon adapts.

"But you seem to recognize things. Were you a student here?" Medusa asked, standing up a bit straighter, pulling herself off the wall. Only to wander over and sit down on the corner of one of the vacant beds.

"So what brings you here to the nurses? You’re not ill are you?"

"Yeah. A graduate here." He replies leaning over his head to his crossed arms.

His eyes follow her footsteps until she sat on the bed. "I’d like to hang out here since I missed this place. I didn’t expect there is someone here.."

Medusa crossed her legs and let her elbows rest on her knee. “Did you come back on Lord Death’s request?”

It may have seemed like an odd question for a total stranger to ask another- but Medusa was genuinely curious about the quirky meister in her presence, and weather or not he would pose a threat to her plans.

She found his apperance fascinating. His tattered and stitched clothes, the scar on his face, and the screw through his head, Medusa was still awestruck by Stein’s strangely attractive appearance, but she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind.

The mad doctor can’t help but be fascinated by her appearance and notes that they have the same curiosity for each other.

He didn’t know why but this is some rare chance to like a conversation with a person of his opposite gender.

"Well..yeah.."

He was honest. To make it non obvious that he somehow have a tint of likeness to the nurse in front of him, he turns his chair to the table adjacent to him and pretends to check the files presented.

"You don’t seem to thrilled to be back…" Medusa chuckled. "Do you not want to be here?"

The witch could sense a strong aura around Stein, and knew he was strong…with good looks to boot. Medusa could foresee a rather interesting relationship with this skillful meister.

She had to hide the smirk that curled across her lips from him, and she was thankful Stein was looking away when she did so.

He opens the folder and reads through the first page of the file presenting one of the students of the academy. "How could I be?"

The professor chuckles and gives her a shrug, “I mean..why would I be not thrilled. It’s a good thing to be back..” he says taking a glimpse l, his emerald eyes scanning to the side without turning his head, “..back to the place you used to stay…”

Medusa chuckled, particularly enjoying the man’s hesitance. She dropped the subject, as she noticed it could be rather touchy.

"You spent a lot of time here? In the infirmary? A bit odd, don’t you think?" Medusa cocked a brow at the scientist, a curious look on her face.

The more that she asks, the more he is either intrigued with this lady that he set aside reading the files and finally turns facing the infirmary nurse.

"I’d consider it odd to meet a new nurse like you do.."

He snickers knowing he shifts the subject to her. "You..why did you choose to work her anyway?"
