azure: hiii mortie, margot.

the cats greet the familiar human

azure: matty! it's azure.

she makes her way upstairs to search for matilda.

azure: oh no, she's dead.

matilda: [grumbling] not yet.

azure was matilda's oldest and closest friend, the first one to ask if she's eaten for the day, making sure she's hydrated and stays away from the cigarettes.

azure: c'mon, it's two in the afternoon. i brought you groceries.

matty had a bad habit of going hours without eating, or simply surviving on leftover takeout. azure always knew when to remedy this.

matilda: [quietly] ...thanks.
