I finished reading Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson and recently started Katabasis by R.F. Kuang. I loved Tress and I will be going back to Cosmere pretty soon :)

Both! I have a ridiculous sweet tooth (especially for cheesecake) but right now I'm craving salty.

Coffee or Tea

Coffee at work, tea at home (I am quite fond of milky oolong and genmaicha), chamomile at night. You can't beat the soothing feeling of a cup of chamomile before bed and a hot water bottle on your feet.

So many WIPs that I haven't touched since June. I swear to myself I'll get back to it. Aaaaany day now.

I just finished reading Heated Rivalry and The Long Game by Rachel Reid. Quite a bit spicier than I usually enjoy, but I loved the dynamic between them enough to give it a shot anyway.

Last Series

I’m rewatching Prodigal Son and fully deluding myself that if enough people watch it on Netflix they’ll pick it up and give it the ending it deserved.

People We Meet on Vacation…I never read the book but was fully underwhelmed by the movie. The actors were good (especially Emily Bader 😍), but the way the movie was written or directed, idk exactly what it was, but it felt like watching a movie instead of being sucked into the characters’ world.

I haven’t listened to much the last few days (been extremely overstimulated by a migraine last week), but I did listen to some sleepy lo-fi last night while finishing my book.

Sweet or Salty

Sweet is my favorite thing ever. I’m partial to chocolate truffles, coconut cake, and apple pastries.

Coffee or Tea

Always tea. I gave up coffee after I quit working night shift at the hospital and switched to decaf green and herbal teas to help me get my circadian rhythm back to normal. It took about a decade.

Currently Working On

I have multiple WIPs that I haven’t touched since July, but my priority has been getting back to my writing routine so I can hopefully finish editing and posting Leviathan and then finish drafting the The Hot Zone, because I miss Scott Ryder. 💛
