Guys, I figured out how to draw the legs !

Spent a week on this lol, kept adding things, changing other things, thinking it looks bad, not drawing for two days, comming back to it...

Made like, three sketches to get the details right

The scenario I envisioned where the prototype was finally defeated in Chapter 6. I think he will fix Poppy’s face, and Poppy will finally know about prototype’s past identity and what Elliot did to him. I'm really curious about how she would react to the truth…Poor kids…

Do you think Poppy would behave and think differently if she knew the truth of what happened to Oliver and why he does what he does for her?

I don’t think it would fundamentally change her decision.

Poppy would still want to end everything — to stop the toys from continuing to exist.

To me, she’s the only one who truly realizes that their existence was wrong from the very beginning. And because she still has a sense of self, she’s also capable of admitting that she herself is part of that mistake.The other toys don’t seem to reach that point. Whether it’s because they’ve lost themselves or simply never question it, they just keep existing — almost on instinct.

Knowing the truth about Oliver would probably affect her emotionally, though. She relies on him, so it would likely bring guilt, hesitation, maybe even doubt.

But I don’t think it would change what she believes is the right thing to do. It would just make it much harder for her to go through with it.

I think Poppy is the only toy who has retained most of her original sense of self. The others have long been conditioned to the point where their identities are either fragmented or completely gone.

Ollie wants Poppy to believe she is still "Poppy," because his own self-perception has already shifted — from being Ollie to becoming something that exists for Poppy.

So if Poppy starts to believe that her existence is wrong, then his existence would be invalid as well.

In the end, all the toys want is to exist — to survive.

But exist as what?

In these artificial bodies, with minds that have been altered... with a sense of self that is fading, or perhaps already gone?

In this piece, the other toys and the Prototype reach out to rock Poppy's cradle, soothing her back to sleep — so they can continue believing that toys still have a future.
