I didn't have high expectations for Sahara sensei and Toki-kun but it has really surprised me. It's funny and cute in a way I never expected and the overall humor is working for me in a way it didn't in I Became the Main Role in a BL Drama.

I love Toki's friend group.

And I love that Toki is actually a softy and is totally whipped for Sahara underneath his tough gangster exterior.

Japanese BL just does this poignancy so well, even in a show that has mostly been laughs so far and I love this scene and this way of show Sahara's past and the slow but steady delve into the way being queer shaped him so, so differently than it's shaping Toki because of different times and different people. @absolutebl Seriously, I don't think any other countries can pull off this tone in such an over the top comedic show.

In no universe did I expect him to put all his strength into slapping Sahara's back.
