I have MANY headcanons for ojiro,,, I thought I'd never get to show them to anyone
But here we are. I might aswell show them ALL
(sorry my english Is bad :p)
-His mother is Japanese and the father is russian. They divorced when ojiro was a toddler. But are in good terms to take care of Ojiro.
They agreed that If ojiro was a boy the Mother would name him. And so she named him Mashirao.
The father doesn't completely like the name tho. So he nicknamed him 'Lev' (literally lion in russian), Ojiro grew up with his friends in russia believing his real name is Lev.
Goes by ojiro in japan bc people in general would have a hard Time trying to pronunce 'Lev'
-Grew up in Russia and during vacation he visited his Mom's side of the family in Japan until he was 12 years old. After that He started living in Japan and attending school there. And went to Russia during vacations.
-He can talk, write and read both japanese and Russian just fine. Although he had an accent in his japanese. Some of his schoolmates bullied him bc of it. He still forgets random words in both languages.
-Can play de acordeon. His father taught him to play, just Like his grandma did when his father was ojiro's age. So his father wanted to make a tradition out of it.
They would play together, and pull all nighters. In the porch, in the living room, even in the woods behind ojiro's house.
He couldn't bring his acordeon with him when he moved to Japan. He got so used to play with someone else that the thought of playing alone makes him sad.
He was pretty surprised when his dad sended him his acordeon when he was on the UA campus. With a note that said 'play and remember how much we love you' When hagakure asked him to play, he did, and almost cried. He misses his home in Russia and his father.
-Used to have long hair, His hair was so fluffy It resembled a lion Mane. His Mother Made him cut It shorts before the ua admission exam bc ' It's a very prestigious school after all, you have to look presentable to have better chances to get in'. He was a little mad when he saw how the majority of the class 1a boys had long or messy hair.
-He's red-green color blind
-His eyes are sensitive to light which allows him to see in the dark. But he also has the lowest light setting in all his electronics
His pupils work similar to a cat's would.
(During a blackout in the campus, mineta flashed his litern at ojiro and screamed when his eyes reflected the light)
That also means his pupils can change it's size. Get dilated when he sees something he likes, Is concentrated on a Target, and so they turn really tiny when he Is startled, angry or Sense danger.
If he forces his eyes he can actually see the silhouette of hagakure. Once she had a new haircut and ojiro noticed and ask her about it. Flabbergasted hagakure told him the weather was getting hot so she decided to cut it short. It looks quite nice he said. And the hagakure exploited with questions and told him to never tell anyone. It will ruin the magic of her quirk.
-Has sharp canine teeth
Has an incredible bite force, he can break bones with one bite.
One time during Training he had to fight bakugo. At some point he got so frustrated that he bit into bakugo's grenade glove and actually broke it and got to the arm, fracturing the bone, also ending up swallowing nitroglycerin, and started coughing up blood. Ojiro was disappointed with himself after that and Bakugo would scream at him everytime he had the chance and challenging him to one on one training lessons.
He has a few chewing toys and bones he likes to munch on while he is alone in his room.
While battling Pony during an exercise, he caught one of her horns like a dog would and then broke it with a quick snap. Pony had a visible fright since her horns aren't that fragile. She was sure they were as hard as cement and yet with one bite he broke them. Ojiro won that fight with a new chew toy.
Also he eats chicken wings whole. Like. He chungs the whole thing into his mouth and starts chewing. None of the class A really noticed until mineta asked almost screaming 'what in the hell are you doing?' eating he answered 'But you are putting the whole thing in your mouth!!!' leave me alone this is how i eat them. Deku got really curious about how his jaw works after that.
-He has a bristled tounge, resembles a feline tounge. The bristles are big and is sharp, and very noticeable if he opens His mouth wide. He had received comments of how Uncanny It looks, so Ojiro avoids to open His mouth around people.
-Can purr. And purrs when hagakure and kaminari touches his hair and tail. And When he Is in deep sleep. Hagakure has many audio notes of his purr.
-Can digest raw meat without any problem
One time Mineta went to the kitchen at 3 am for a glass of water and saw ojiro there, lights off eating leftover raw meat that sato gave him after dinner. He almost screamed when a tail around his mouth silenced him. Needless to say he never saw ojiro the same way.
-He has claws and paw pads in his hands and feet
In Russia, It's common decency to not show claws and fangs. It Is seemed as rude and violent. So he hides them as much as he can, closes His hand in relaxed fists, and covers His mouth with his Tail when he laughs or yawns.
Ojiro has scared classmates when he wasn't careful enough, one Time (during His Time in Russia) actually harmed someone when they were about to fall down stairs, Ojiro tried to stop them by grabbing the falling boy's arm.
Well His claws got deep into the person's arm. The kid was in hysterics and wouldn't stop screaming. Ojiro couldn't really defend himself, but It was obvious It was an accident. He was suspended a week less as a punishment More to Let the kids calm down and forget the incident.
No one forgot, everyone would call him 'killer' after that.
That also means he doesn't have fingerprints
Owns a kind of claws sharpening cat toy. Uses it more has a kinetic toy than to actually sharp up his claws
He makes biscuits only when he is half asleep.
Accidentally has shredded his pillow, many times, not because he had a nightmare necessarily, often times, It just happens. Ojiro Is pretty afraid of what he Is capable of doing while unconscious. That's also why he was so angry with the whole Shinso Situation.
-His spine is very flexible, is cat-like and freaky to see. But it also allows him to make sudden changes of direction and jumps to evade attacks.
-His tail gets a winter coat during winter. And in spring he has to shave it to avoid shedding all that fur everywhere.
-He doesn't have hair, is all fur, which makes it extra soft and dense
-He has short fur all over his tail and leaves the tip long.
-Has a tick, Cats are really sensitive to sudden changes around them, (they can identify them through their whiskers, ears and nose).
His tick happens when he Senses a sudden change, not necessarily when something bad Is about to take place, it helps him to detect attacks and to alert him to weird quirks.
No one has really notice, but his pupils turn really tiny, His Tail gets a little fluffed up and Lets out the tiniest 'prrt' sound.
-When he gets scared he yells a monotone 'AH'. Hagakure and Kaminari LOVE to scare him just to see the reaction, to them Is hilarious. Ojiro Is not amused, but he goes with it bc he also gets a good laugh out of It.
-He slow blinks, he doesn't realize he does It. It has the same effects as Cats, as in, he does It when he Is cozy and happy around someone. And he can be tricked into liking someone If they slowly blink at him (Shinso did this, now Ojiro Is very close friends with him. Note Shinso didn't make this with a malicious intent, he was just curious to see If It worked).
-Likes to feel the sun but prefers the cold weather
Likes to sleep and take naps.
He normally sleeps a standard of 6-7 hours at night.
Then throughout the day he takes naps, after school, after training, after finishing his homework, a little one after showering and before dinner. The naps take between 10-30 minutes.
Likes to take naps in trees. Similar to a leopard, he just stretches on a big and sturdy branch, on his stomach, Tail either around the branch or hanging beside him. He sleeps very soundly, for being in a tree.
the one character with a tail and we were robbed of a cat boy, he is the cat boy of 1-A don't tell me he isn't cat coded cause he's the little lion man im changing his hero name too it's what he deserves
