oldmcncy:
Alyx tried to be as quiet as possible as she packed Harley’s things. All while she was doing this, she thought of where to go next and what to do. She was honestly surprised that Damien didn’t try to come in and try to talk her into forgiving him, though it was entirely possible he didn’t want to do it in front of Harley. As shitty as he was towards her, Alyx had to admit that he was a good dad. With two bags packed, she was ready to go. She grabbed Harley’s things first, finally exiting the room so she could head over to the garage, though the sigh of Damien crying stopped her in her tracks. “What is going on now?”
Damian peered over his shoulder and watched Alyx standing by the bedroom door. “You tell me,” he began, “I’m not the one with the keys in my hand.” He didn’t bother getting up from the floor, instead opting for staring at the wall with a blank expression splattered on his face. Alyx’s emotions were just as volatile as his own. He never knew what to expect from her or what could be done to make things right. Perhaps, that same spark that once made them inseparable was fizzling out. “What’s it gonna be, then?” He spoke, finally getting up to walk towards her.
