Right...Pluto often forgot that Aether created [TYPE: FULL] for war. Was Ru suggesting they may die? ..no. That made sense. They had biometrics. They weren’t fully mechanical like it was, but not even Pluto was immune to the embrace of death. It didn’t like thinking about the aspect of death, truthfully. It was scared of death, despite not being truly “alive” by conventional standards. But it knew that’s what Ru was referring to. He may die. They all may die. Some, or none, or even most. There was no way to know
There was a soft whir from inside Pluto as the tiny Unit considered what to say. The motors steadily grew louder and softer in turn, it was quite literally thinking very hard. Many of the entities it considered friends were Units crafted by Aether. Was it just Ru who would suffer this gamble? Was it all of them? It didn’t have the courage to ask, honestly. It didn’t want to know.
Its fans cooled down soon enough, and after a moment of silence and no movement, a message was sent to Ru.
It could only assume Ru wasn’t expecting it to volunteer to assist, and it was smart enough to know it likely wouldn’t be of any use except a liability. What use did cutting edge soldiers have for a scrap pile, after all?
What a heavy topic to jump on it, though...Still...Pluto took the opportunity to record the interaction. If this could be the last time it would see Ru, it wanted to retain memories of him for as long as possible.
