(+ a lot of throwaway dungeon bosses + field bosses)

Boss I never fought and I'm too lazy to do it now: Elemer (I guess he would be a major one since you can buy his outfit at the roundtable)

Favourite spells:

Night Comet (the GOAT), Rock Sling (early game bread and butter but often whipped it out later too), Comet (a bit more expensive and hard-hitting than night comet but less convenient), Magic Glintblade (really good for stealth-assassinating things AND goes over railings), Cannon of Haima (when you can't get a clear line of fire), Loretta's Greatbow (exclusively for long-range sniping and one of the few things Terra Magica is good for), Ranni's Dark Moon (good as a starter + eats a lot of enemy projectiles)

Frenzied Burst (best sniping tool ever), Knight's Lightning Spear (hehe big damage), Multilayered Ring of Light (for stuff weak to holy) + the usual buff spells

Favourite weapons:

Blasphemous Blade (the GOAT), Dark Moon Greatsword (pretty + hits hard), Lordsworn's Straight Sword (super versatile + pretty + low stat requirements), Banished Knight Halberd (my go-to Crystalian buster), Godskin Stitcher (used it a lot in the DLC), Sacred Relic Sword (we know why but it also DELETED Putrescent Knight), Horn Bow (very useful)

Favourite (swappable) Ashes of War:

Assassin's Gambit (the main reason I barely ever used Ritual Sword. sneak 100, bithes), Ice Spear (great for posture + very fast frostbite + ranged), Storm Blade (want to manhandle Fire Knights? they can't do shit! also very cheap and spammable), Gravitas (not very powerful but really good for checking around corners for an ambush), Giant Hunt (it can yeet smaller enemies into the air), Sacred Blade (it oneshots even most DLC skeletons / TWLID)

MALENIA DOWN

I ended up slightly adjusting the tank build for more faith + kept the greatshield talisman and the discus but swapped the others for Talisman of the Dread + Shard of Alexander and the shield for the Black Knight one since I wanted something I could put no skill on (and didn't feel like doing the sewers and the frenzy parkour). Also switched the stamina tear for the flame-shrouding tear. I have 50 endurance, it's enough by itself.

Only died 10 times??? Somehow? I expected at least 40 XD

I minmaxed the weight so I wouldn't be overloaded with 2 weapons, and I managed to have both the Blasphemous Blade and the cold cross-naginata equipped. Taker's Flames does absolutely ridiculous damage to her and the frost is good to apply on occasion.

I ate so many waterfowls with barely a scratch on my health bar XD the grab is more dangerous if you happen to be low.

Also used the Horned Warrior on my winning attempt. The mimic is too dumb to use her shield, and Engwall and the Black Knight kept dying in phase 2. But horny boy stayed alive the entire time (I occasionally threw a heal at him).

This build might be ridiculously good. I suck at dodge timings but who needs to dodge when you are more fortified than Rogal Dorn's average project?

Also I never managed to avoid the flower. I did what I saw in videos, run forward a bit then to the side, but I always got caught (at least not enough to proc rot). Thankfully she didn't do the clones too much.

And with that we're more or less done, time to dress for my wedding!

had to go through the Tower of Return to get to that part of the capital. also the golem must be resistant to fire because I actually needed to whack him with the sword.

the view is nice tho

it only took a couple attempts with this setup

ended up switching to a cold cross-naginata from the Antspur Rapier for better reach and it worked really well

also with the boys this melts phase 1 pretty quickly

I'm really glad I killed the flower for Miquella's rune because I got hugged 3 times on my winning attempt

his hair is so pretty tho

Ansbach no :'( he did live to the end of the fight at least

now I'm tempted to further test this build but there is only one major boss left...

also he's supposed to drop 500k runes. do the boys take some?

Ansbach's outfit is one of the prettiest in the game

also: it felt very funny to never need to run away or roll. I could eat Radahn's boulders and his follow-up clones no problem.

I also put my one blue to Torrent's slot so I wouldn't have to switch (since I only needed one refill after my buffs to get my summon out)

Fuck it. Time to go full turtle mode.

tried with the Blasphemous Blade, I can get him to roughly a third of his health left sometimes. somehow did better on the attempt where I never tried to heal the gang and just spammed as much as possible

also tried Knight's Lightning Spear with Death Knight set + Flowerstone Gavel + all the other lightning buffs

also: Ansbach and Thiollier take FOREVER to show up in front of the gate every time and then also have the habit of wandering off when I'm trying to buff both of them. it's like herding cats

if I manage to dodge the first gravity spin, I can usually make it to phase 2 with all 8 red flasks intact (the rest is blue)

tried he greatshield boys ONCE. he oneshot all but 1 instantly. they are so fucking useless

settled on the Horned Warrior because losing some health to the mimic can be fatal if I fuck up the first dodge or get stuck at the gate

got pissed off enough I'm switching to the Let Me Tank Him build

whoever programmed this shit can suck my entire fucking dick. this exact thing happened yesterday too except I had ONE energy left on a fucking GREY card at the VERY FUCKING END.

gave Consort some attempts (13 deaths so far)

I can pretty consistently get him to phase 2

at first I only summoned Ansbach but the more distractions, the better, so I got Thiollier in too (because Ansbach has to monologue every time before he decides to actually do something)

tried horny warrior, greatshield boys, the Black Knight with the twinblade and the mimic

got grabbed once (on my second attempt) but I have the rune so it wasn't a problem

also seen Ansbach get grabbed on 2 attempts but it seems Radahn takes very little damage while he's stuck in the long ass hug animation (believe me, I was SPAMMING)

mostly went with moon + night comet, plus protective buffs + heal from afar + full crucible set + braid, pearldrake +3, graven mass, magic scorpion

when I manage to dodge his initial gravity spin the first phase is decent

however he doesn't always start phase 2 with the floaty move, sometimes he just gets on my arse immediately

I also tried the BB setup and it seemed a little better (even on suboptimal stats) since I can keep more red flasks for phase 2

went to Mama Rennala and respecced back into full faith. if anything can kill this fucker it's probably BB. I'm not desperate enough for the verdigris set + antspur rapier build yet but we might get there XD

okay this is getting ridiculous

I thought I'd give Bayle a few tries before supper and. he died. on my first attempt.

he was thankfully mega aggroed on Igon for the entire first phase so I just spammed

got grabbed once in phase 2 but lived (I had the +3 fire and lightning talismans on + magic scorpion and graven mass). I did eat one of the fireproof consumables at the start but not sure it lasted that long.

should I tempt fate with Consort XD bet he'll get rid of that rune arc very fast

my fashion souls is in shambles but BOY was it worth it

so I went through the manse and got the 2 spirit ash things from the big inquisitor and the chandelier but apparently I'm still missing some? I have NO idea where they could be so I probably won't be checking every place

fuck walking on those narrow beams. even with a bow. didn't fall off but I hate those

the horny guys here seem to be a bit tougher than the other ones, I needed ritual sword in addition to the usual suspects and the buffs to oneshot them (I used the faith / BB setup for this section. still works with only 40-something fth)

got to Midra. put on the most atrocious outfit for max focus.

I uh. I first tried the poor man

he hit me with the big frenzy beam twice during the fight but I lived both times

for once didn't forget any part of the routine (physick, buffs, ignite sword, summon my own horny guy, run the fuck away, refill everything, moon, night comet, repeat run/refill as needed, keep spamming night comet)

horny guy got the last hit on him

I planned to test the Zamor Curved Sword and the Wing of Astel. maybe on someone else

however this means I have 3 remembrances left
