Olho pela janela, quase tudo está completo,
Todas as bruxas voando por aí.
Olho para as ruas, todos os fantasmas
encantados com as abóboras esculpidas.
Olho pelo espelho, vejo a Maria Sangrenta e ela me diz:
“Procurando por algo doce?”.
Olho horrorizada e grito, ela ri da minha cara assustada:
Mova, mova seus pés, corra o mais rápido que puder,
Mova, mova seus pés, sinta o calor do medo,
Enquanto escapamos daqui, meu querido,
Correremos até desaparecer.
Mova, mova seus pés no ritmo da dança,
Mova, mova seu esqueleto no ritmo deste romance,
Enquanto procuramos por algo doce,
Repetimos gostosuras ou travessuras!
