-Voices-
A collection of portraits depicting the voices from Slay the Princess, taking inspiration from the style of the video game Disco Elysium! The Voice of the Hero, a knight, an iconic silhouette against a luminant halo. A color palette of black, blue, and teal.
The Voice of the Hunted, a beast trying to protect its heart from danger, represented here as a crosshair.
The Voice of the Smitten, the knife wound letting loose lovely streams of swirling bodily juices into the air.
The Voice of the Cold, dark, and angular. Something completely unafraid to kill.
The Voice of the Skeptic, attempting to fly, tearing himself away from chains and what looks like his own body.
The Voice of the Paranoid, Frantic and multi-eyed, clutching at a wound.
The Voice of the Contrarian, flying in stark contrast to the others, glowing instead of secluded, a mischievous fairy or will o' the wisp, instead of a grotesque figure.
The Voice of the Broken, shattered and leaking. A humanoid figure is no longer recognizable.
The Voice of the Stubborn, Fiery eyes, and big meaty claws. The brushwork is chaotic.
The Voice of the Cheated, smoke leaking from puncture wounds still embedded within him. He's holding a cigar, too; probably where all the smoke is coming from.
The Voice of the Opportunist, carrying multiple masks on his person, and wielding a poorly concealed knife.
And finally (for now) The Long Quiet itself, the night sky, swirling sigils blurred in the dark.
“Must have reliable transportation” = “this is how we legally discriminate against poor people who take the bus”
As someone who has held several management positions with hiring responsibility, this is true. The boss at my last job informed me before I conducted my very first I interview,
“You can’t outright ask someone if they have a car or have kids. That’s technically illegal. But you need to know because sometimes they can be deal breakers. You can just say ‘Do you have reliable transportation?’ and ‘Do you have any current circumstances that could impede you from being successful at work?’
To which the last one most people fumble and would say, “Well I have kids, so sometimes they could get sick. But that’s not often.” But then your potential employer could mark it down on your interview notes nonetheless.
I thought that maybe it was just my own employer. But now I noticed that I am asked both of these almost every time I interview for a job.
Language is very sneaky. Be careful how you answer. Corporations can be snakes.
In my businesses class my professor told us that the bus counts as reliable transportation. You do not legally have to say “I take the bus” just say “yes I do have reliable transportation” and leave it at that. Do not over share. DO NOT OVER SHARE. The second question just say no. If your kids are sick call out as if you are sick. I don’t have kids but I myself can get sick and that doesn’t hinder my ability to succeed so kids getting sick shouldn’t hinder you. When I call out I give as little info as possible. No one needs to know why you call out. They can’t ask about your “illness” because it violates HIPAA if they do. So as long as you don’t offer more info than you need to you should be okay.
Real quick, you do not have to confirm what kind of transportation you have, you do not have admit to any personal circumstance that may impact your future work, and you should never, ever discuss anything related to your health in a job interview. Do not give them information they cannot ask for.

AU where Mankai Co. is a shopping center/district/mall & each group's establishment specializes in accordance with their specific genre - and the troupe leaders are the managers of their respective business.
Like, the Spring Troupe has a fancy, high-end confectionery (their chocolates are best-sellers).
The Summer Troupe has a toy store.
Autumn Troupe has a shop that specializes in props often used for cosplays, photoshoots, stageplays, etc.
And Winter Troupe has a pharmacy.
Sometimes, whenever someone from a Troupe is on his break or finished his shift, he would go to the other Troupe's place just to chill & hang out.
Izumi is, of course, the CEO of the shopping center/district/mall.

My game for the 1 page RPG jam is out. Replace your dice and your gm by decks from any tcg or ccg you want. You can even bring multiple different games at the table for all sort of crossover chaos.
Players use different tcg or ccg decks to tell a story
So here comes Magic the Gathering meets Yu Gi Oh, meets Flesh and Blood meets Keyforge, meets Altered meets Duel Masters meets …. wow there are a lot of tcg out there and that's without counting the license-based ones…
Mankai March 2025 Question 7!
This is similar to yesterday's, but more brainrot-flavored www<3 If you could see one of your favorite pieces of media(game, movie, tv show) adapted into a play performed by Mankai, which one would it be? Any casts in mind? Or maybe vice versa, with characters from the other media sucked into an A3! playverse! Or just the A3! universe? Go crazy! Tell us about it!

Mankai March 2025 Question 5!
This feels like it should've been a more obvious question last year, but I guess I didn't ask it, so let's do that now! Do you have a favorite Mankai Stage performance? What makes it stand out? Give me everything!
Oooh, that's a hard one...
I think Spring Act 2, like I had no idea how they would pull off Chikage's introduction considering all of the things that happen in that act specifically (*cough* kidnapping arc) and yet the whole direction was done so beautifully... Honestly saw Chikage in a new light thanks to Mankai Stage and if I wasn't a Haru oshi then I probably would've been converted by that point haha.
Honorable mentions go to the rest of the round one Act 2 plays, since they've done a lot of cool things to change the formula for all of them and 4 Seasons LIVE!

Happy birthday, Madoka! To celebrate God-za's talented scriptwriter, let's do a bit of a combo question! If God-za were to perform a Mankai play, which one would you choose? Who would you cast? Or vice versa, if you have a God-za play you're a fan of!

If I have to think about it, I'd like to see a Godza version of Journey to the Colors! Maybe not the exact part of the story but considering how large Journey to the West is I'd love to see their interpretation of it! Shift as Sun Wukong please.
Mankai March 2025 Question 3!
Yesterday we talked about individual characters, but today let's talk about some relationships! Let's start simple with roommates! Do you have a favorite roommate pair in Mankai? What makes them so special to you?
Room 103 is probably my favorite roommate pair, and it's mostly because of the interactions they have when the two are together. Though I don't really ship them I find their interactions to be really funny and since they're both adults in the Spring Troupe, I feel like they can be more comfortable around each other since they don't have to put up any pretenses. It's also funny when Itaru does something nerdy or gamer-like and proceeds to call him out on it while Itaru calls him out whenever he's working too much or telling lies. And yet they'll team up to make memes in the EN release which I found to be hilarious.
