THE NEW AND IMPROVED INCASEOFGRACE.COM IS NOW LIVE!
Rebuilt from the ground up! Much prettier, more navigable, more accessible, and more me!
I spent a few months on this and I'm very happy with how it's turned out! Even sharpened my JS to create a fancy interactive gallery! Only art back to 2025 is present, as it's a Lot of work to properly tag and set up a block for every image-- I'll be backfilling older stuff over time!
Lair of Grace Gittel Lewis (incaseofgrace). This is a centralized home for all of my art, TTRPGs, writing, and myriad other projects!
"Do you ever dream of land?" The whale asks the tuna.
"No." Says the tuna, "Do you?"
"I have never seen it." Says the whale, "but deep in my body, I remember it."
"Why do you care," says the tuna, "if you will never see it."
"There are bones in my body built to walk through the forests and the mountains." Says the whale.
"They will disappear." Says the tuna, "one day, your body will forget the forests and the mountains."
"Maybe I don't want to forget," Says the whale, "The forests were once my home."
"I have seen the forests." Whispers the salmon, almost to itself.
"Tell me what you have seen," says the whale.
"The forests spawned me." Says the salmon. "They sent me to the ocean to grow. When I am fat with the bounty of the ocean, I will bring it home."
"Why would the forests seek the bounty of the oceans?" Asks the whale. "They have bounty of their own."
"You forget," says the salmon, "That the oceans were once their home."
Last year I finally had an excuse to illustrate this simple little Tumblr story I've had bookmarked forever for class.
I hope you like it :]
Character whose tragic backstory includes losing their father at an early age during a game of peek-a-boo
One moment he was there... Then suddenly he was gone...
But peek-a-boo is such a simple innocent game. People play it all the time and nothing happens.
Here look

Eureka, by A.N.I.M, is a ttrpg that lets the players take actions as various mystery solving detectives, finding their own clues to deduce conclusions themselves!
Anne Monteverdi made sure Series Seeker stuck around to keep track of all the RPG hobby's stories.
Almost every culture and every race around the world enjoys great music and excels at creating it… except Hispanics. Why is that? Don’t you people ever get tired of listening to that shit?
wokest yanqui when the foreigner gets uppity
"hispanics" ooooooo you want to call me a beaner so bad ooooooooooo do it put the stupid forgeiner back in his place
I know it's not actually about the music, they just saw that he makes music while blindly furiously desperate to insult him as fast as possible because they're insecure, but everyone check out @imsobadatnicknames2's music anyway, just to drive in the failure on even the barest surface level.
Technical death metal studio project focusing on speed, technicality, and shred.

Play a video game till 4 am last night....
I am over 30 and I heavily felt this fact this morning
I am a fan of Shangri-La Frontier. It is a manga that just...absorbed me when I first read it, to the point I remember the time and place when it happens. And then I reread it immediatly after.
It's been a few years now. I am impatient so I went past the scans to try to read the webnovel. Many ideas I want to steal, but my main problem stays the same as when I wrote a small article about it : How do I play a TTRPG of this?
I thought about .Dungeon, a game happening in a mmo. I thought about Break, Cloudbreaker Alliance, Fabula Ultima, games inspired by JRPG. But the system of Shangri La Frontier is too...on the fly and endless with its skills that develop depending on the player's playstyle. The build is a big part of the Manga. I thought about Thorn with its tactics and talents that can be created by the player. But something is missing. To use a webnovel skill as an example, which game would have a "get a buff for every critical strikes hit during the combat". And then a lightbulb struck like a fridge door opening in the night.
Which sort of games has also made the build its center point? Collectible Card Games. This is actually Magic and Yu-Gi-Oh
What if the better game to adapt SLF was Perfect Draw? A game in which the player makes their own cards with a whole system dedicated to it. In which big buffs comes with debuffs and only the big plays matter rather than the basic hits. MMORPG and CCG/TCG may be closer than I thought

Dire Straights
I really really really really didn’t want to go back to doing this as regularly, but A.N.I.M. really needs money. The past few months for us have been pretty bad, and I’ve been making less than minimum wage with my cut of the profits for a while.
We make sure not to paywall the majority of our project so as not to bar them from people who can’t afford them, but that means we’re reliant on the good will of those who can afford them to choose to pay.
If you like what we do, want us to keep doing it, an want to keep a disabled game designer who can’t do other work able to pay their medical and food bills, please consider paying for one of our games on itchio, and/or subscribing to our patreon for more regularly updated versions of all our projects.
Patreon is empowering a new generation of creators. Support and engage with artists and creators as they live out their passions!
If you can’t do that, rating them 5-stars on itchio, downloading them, and playing them/talking about them/sharing them is a huge help too. Like, it really can’t be overstated how reliant we are on word-of-mouth.
I am going to have to reinstate the Income Goals to make sure we make an income of at least $2,000 every month across both itchio and patreon, gradually increasing that goal probably until we are making at least $3,000 every month.

I have [2] commission slots available to anyone interested in pencil sketches
