Jekyll and Hyde adaptations that make Hyde into a woman are really generic and I don't like them too much. The idea's been done in a million movies and books and shows, and it doesn't even line up with the point of the book + usual time period that well. Often they fetishize the idea of transgender people and are generally written poorly.
You know what I DO want? I want a J&H story where Hyde is pretty much untouched, but Jekyll is a woman. I feel like it's not only unique to have a transmasc main dynamic, but really interesting psychologically; Having to do with how women perceive men and whatnot, how masculinity feels like an escape from the scrutiny especially women would otherwise get for doing these socially unacceptable things, aside from the obvious transgender metaphor.
