Quiet squeaking in the distance.
no-octopus-for-me said: Imagine Gallerian then running into it and squealing in terror like a small child.
The Very Amazing Octopus's Handler is just going to leave this here.
The Very Amazing Octopus squeaks concernedly in Morse Code: "-.. .- .-. .-.. .. -. --. --..-- / -.. --- -. .----. - / -.-. .-. -.--"
Hellish blinked and looked up at his friend, blinking once more as he forced a soft smile.
"Ah… thank you, friend." He said softly, placing a hand on the octopus’ tentacle and petting him.
"I’m sorry to worry you…"
~~~
The Very Amazing Octopus comfortingly squeaked, reaching another tentacle out to pat him back. He hated seeing his friend so sad.
“.. / ..- -. -.…-. … - .- -. -.. .-.-.- / .. - .——. … / -. —- - / ..-. ..- -. / - —- / … . . / -.— —- ..- / -.-. .-. -.— —..— / -… ..- - / .. / -.- -. —- .— / .. - .——. … / ..- -. .- …- —- .. -.. .- -… .-.. . —..— / … —- — . - .. — . … .-.-.- / -.. —- -. .——. - / .— —- .-. .-. -.— / .- -… —- ..- - / — . .-.-.- / .. .——. .-.. .-.. / .- .-.. .— .- -.— … / -… . / ……-. . / ..-. —- .-. / — -.— / ..-. .-. .. . -. -.. —..— / .— …. . - ……-. / -.— —- ..- / .- .-. . / …. .- .—. .—. -.— / —- .-. / … .- -.. .-.-.-”
The octopus’ actions kept the smile on his face, and he held the tentacle to his forehead.
"I’m glad… You’re the only friend I’ve ever had, I don’t know what would happen if you hated me…" He muttered quietly.
The Very Amazing Octopus continued patting and hugging his friend wiith one tentacle, letting him hold the other that was currently out of the water.
".. / -.-. --- ..- .-.. -.. / -. . ...- . .-. / .... .- - . / -.-- --- ..- !" He squeaked loudly. ".-- . .----. .-. . / -... . ... - / ..-. .-. .. . -. -.. ... .-.-.- / .- .-.. .-- .- -.-- ... .-.-.-"
Imagine the Very Amazing Octopus being used as a guard to the Hellish Yard, just like Cerberus with Hades.
Meet me in the pit, you green-haired floozy. I'll kick your ass. I'll kick your mom's ass. I'll kick your octopus's ass. I'll kick my own ass.
“We’ll take you on.”
The Very Amazing Octopus squeaks in agreement and support of his friend. He makes intimidating octopus sounds that are surprisingly not squeaks. He will not let Nemesis be threatened.
The Very Amazing Octopus wraps his tentacle in a careful hug around his friend. He squeaks even more, excited for the prospect of more visits and snacks. He nods his head. He’d never stop loving tuna!
"Good, good! I think I’ll be right here for a while, I missed you, after all - and I promise I won’t forget the Tuna~" Finally releasing his friend’s tentacle, he removed his mask and looked up at him.
"I don’t need to hide from you, anyways." He stated, proceeding to hide his injury with his hair anyway.
"You’re the only friend I’ve got, you know? I’m not entirely sure I need anyone else, anyways~"
The Very Amazing Octopus has not ceased his excited squeaking. He's very, very happy, and shares the sentiment. Except maybe his other Master.
This is one of the best days ever!
The Very Amazing Octopus continues squeaking excitedly, popping his head out of the water. He missed his friend a lot!
"Now, now, I’m not that exciting! You, on the other hand… well, I can’t say I’ve been more glad to see someone, before." He brings one of the tentacles into a hug and laughs once more.
"I think I’ll try to come see you every day, now that I know you’re alright~ You still like Tuna? Should I bring some with me?"
The Very Amazing Octopus wraps his tentacle in a careful hug around his friend. He squeaks even more, excited for the prospect of more visits and snacks. He nods his head. He'd never stop loving tuna!
The Very Amazing Octopus is glad for the new attention!
The Very Amazing Octopus squeaked happily in response, swimming quickly to shore and reaching a few tentacles out. His friend seemed a bit different, but he would know that person anywhere!
It is.
With the brightest smile on his face in the longest time, Hellish moved to his knees and reached his hands out to touch one of his tentacles.
"Hey there…~ It’s been quite some time, huh? You look like you’ve been doing just fine." He’ll let out a small laugh, but he really is overjoyed.
The Very Amazing Octopus continues squeaking excitedly, popping his head out of the water. He missed his friend a lot!
“….That couldn’t be…” It had certainly been a while since he’d come up from his Yard, he was surprised to say that least.
Crouching at the water’s edge, he waited for the creature to return.
"Are you… who I think you are?"
The Very Amazing Octopus squeaked happily in response, swimming quickly to shore and reaching a few tentacles out. His friend seemed a bit different, but he would know that person anywhere!
The Very Amazing Octopus squeaks happily at Nemesis!
Nemesis reaches her hand out and quirks a smile. “Hello, friend.”
~~~
The Very Amazing Octopus carefully wraps a tentacle around her, as a hug. His squeaks seem to return the sentiment.
“Hey, that’s gross,” Nemesis says, patting the octopus’s tentacle and laughing before wrapping her arms around it. “You’re a good friend to me still. I’m glad.”
The Very Amazing Octopus's happy squeaks almost sound like laughter. Nemesis is one of his best friends in the whole world!
