Sometimes I look at a painting I did or a poem I wrote and think, “Thank fucking CHRIST I’m me and not someone else.”
Then one day I’m picking a scab on my elbow by the kitchen sink and think to myself, “Why the fuck did I have to be me?”

As a witch I 99% of the time do magic by accident.
Think about those really bad storms we had when I was a kid? It starts raining when no rain was forecast. Desperate for a sign? While going for a walk, I suddenly just KNOW there’s a four leaf clover in the grass and I know EXACTLY where it is. I just get down on my haunches and pick it up. I later recant this story while sitting in the grass with some friends. I look to my left, and there’s another four leaf clover.
If I think something bad might happen but I’m NOT anxious about it? If I’m calm? The bad thing is 100% about to happen. It’s like my subconscious self is accepting my fate.
When my boyfriend was abusing me and my family was doing nothing to help me? The family house gets struck by lightning. Said abusive boyfriend commits suicide and his family is treating me badly? THEIR house gets struck by lightning.
And so on and so forth. I have little premonitions. I manifest things constantly. Synchronicities are an almost daily occurrence. And I have zERO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THIS. I CAN’T DO IT ON PURPOSE.
I could go for an iced coffee and a cuddly baphomet plush toy right now tbh
I disguise my lack of talent with creativity and lots of glitter.

I’ve had all kinds of weird experiences with spiders. There was the giant black-and-yellow one crawling up the seatbelt when I was six. There was that little fabric-looking thing on the back of the deck chair that I just HAD to pick at (it was full of baby spiders). There was the giant wolf spider that guarded the light switch in the garage. Most importantly, though?
When something bad is about to happen/is happening, I see a bright orange spider. We’re talking pumpkin orange. I figure it’s a sign from Loki. He messes with me because he knows I’m afraid of spiders, but when I see an orange spider, I know it’s serious. It’s a warning - and a beautiful warning at that.
