A young director who got lucky and stayed lucky, Whitlock could be your way into important Faerie circles. They’re fun, sweet, and adventurous enough to sneak around with you given the right motivation. Like all artists, they’re unpredictable and don’t seem quite ready to settle down yet.
Alessia/Alessandro “Ale” Lombardi, 30- Vampire
The eldest child and former heir of the Lombardi Family, Ale is no stranger to crime, intimidation, and violence. They’ve used their family’s influence to fund a political career and leave mob life behind, supposedly. They take some time to warm up but are a loyal friend and lover once they do.
Charlotte/Charles “Charlie” Cole, 35- Cambion
After a rough childhood, Charlie became a cop to help troubled youth like them. They don’t love being a cop, but they feel it’s the best way they can help kids. Charlie has turned their life around, but maybe you can persuade them to break the rules for you.
Serafina/Sero De Mevius, 24- Witch
A spoiled rich kid with an Ivy league education, De Mevius isn’t like most mobsters you know. They have an air of mystery and don’t really seem to care about upholding their family’s name. They love to spend their dads’ money on parties, charities, and maybe on you too.
Dion Parker, 25- Dragonkin (half dragon/half human)
Your friend since high school, Dion is just along for the ride as you look for answers. Whether they agree with your methods, Dion sticks around to hopefully keep you out of trouble. Your parents trust them to keep books at the club so they’re always nearby.
Eliana/Elio “El” Rivera, 28- Unknown
El will do most anything for a story, especially when it keeps them alive and out of jail. They are fearless and stubborn as a bull, but that may be a front to hide how alone they feel in Ves Arcanus. El has eyes and ears everywhere in Ves Arcanus, but can you get close enough to learn their secrets?

Hello, everyone!! I come with a slightly more personal and hopefully exciting update today.
I know it’s been a long time since you’ve heard anything from me, but I have been checking my asks every now and then and very slowly working on chapter 2.
I’ve had a lot of life changes going on over the last year and a half. Finally finishing my degree, making a big move, getting into and out of a big relationship, and experiencing changes with my ADHD as I go through all of these transitions. It has been a long time coming with definitely more downs than ups.
That said, things are starting to get back on track, which means I can get back to writing soon. It won’t be immediate, but next time you hear from me will be a chapter 2 progress update!
thanks for checking in! all is well i've just been settling in after my move earlier this year; getting new jobs, going to classes, etc.
i do plan to continue writing this story, but in the midst of life and adulting i just haven't had the time to do more than plan/think on what i'd like to add to it. that said chapter 1 has been tweaked and i've started writing on chapter 2 and am very excited to get back into it once i have more time!

hello hello! it's a little late in the month, but april has been going so fast so here we are lol.
i just moved to another state a few weeks ago and it affected my health a bit so writing has been going slower than planned but it is going. as i mentioned before, i'm doing some rewrites and fixes in chapter 1 before i dive back in on chapter 2 so this will be a pretty hefty update.

thanks so much for the well wishes! i can say now that i finally have time to start writing again with some regularity and will soon be back to giving updates about actual writing process. i'm really excited to get back into writing chapter 2 and go through all my edits planned for chapter 1 with fresh eyes.

first off a late happy new year! i hope everyone has had a good start to their year. apologies for the late update, i work full time in education and i’m a full time film student so a lot is happening right now.
that said, chapter 2 hasn’t had much progress so far and unfortunately until march i don’t want to make any promises for when the full chapter will release and i don’t want to release it in parts.
until then, i’m going to focus my very limited free time on making the code changes and rewrites in chapter 1 that i’d planned to add with the new chapter. i know it’s not much but i want to make sure i continue working on the story even if it’s something small.
on a more personal note: the classes i’m taking have actually been giving me a lot of inspiration for things i can add to the story that i think will make it even better.

💗 GROWING HEART - if they have a crush, is it noticable? what changes when they’re in love?
because i want to make it a fun little surprise i’m only going to answer the first part of this question.
L: kind of? at first sight, L is very open emotionally and makes it known that they’re interested, but aside from that it’s not very obvious
Ale: nope, ale won’t outwardly show their interest until they’re sure you feel the same. they have too many eyes on them to advertise every crush
Charlie: 100%. charlie won’t admit it verbally, but they blush and get flustered if their crush flirts/shows any interest in them
Dion: dion likes to follow the courting traditions they grew up with on dreki eyin, so they’ll usually present their crush with a gift to show their affection
S: they like to be pursued, so instead of saying how they feel, they’ll wait for their crush to speak up. they may drop very discreet hints and hope their crush picks up on it
El: definitely not. they won’t even acknowledge that they have a crush, let alone show any sign of it
i don’t normally add Albright but
Albright: they tend to be very physically affectionate in general, so it’s hard to know if they have a crush
🔧 WRENCH - are they good at fixing relationships? or do they tend to avoid doing so?
L: is terrible at fixing relationships because they’ve never felt the need to before. they don’t avoid it, but they never let things get serious enough to need fixing
Ale: is amazing at fixing relationships, but they prefer not to let things fall apart to the point they need fixing
Charlie: is surprisingly good at fixing relationships; they will always want to talk things out and come to a resolution
S: doesn’t avoid it, but they’re so stubborn they have a hard time fixing things on their end
Dion: tends to be avoidant. they aren’t a fan of confrontation, but it’s something they’re working on
El: is very avoidant. they keep most things, especially emotions, under wraps and don’t like the risk that comes with vulnerability
hey everyone! sorry i've been silent this month, i recently started a full time job and have been working to reintegrate writing into my schedule. as i do that i'll be answering asks starting with some i got at the beginning of the month, so feel free to send more in.

When I get to the part of chapter 1 on how I choose to respond to the reporter, no matter what I choose it just goes straight to MC, J and D walking into to the club. There’s no dialogue or anything explaining the effect of my choice.
i think i’ve mentioned this before but there’s no dialogue after that choice; have a look through your stats though.
someone requested i do fluff shorts since it's autumn, so here's the first one of the month. it takes place after ale gets home from a work trip. enjoy!
Footsteps approaching the front door draw you to the living room just as Ale walks into the apartment. When they notice you, they smile and draw you into their arms for a kiss.
“Ciao, mi Tesoro. I wasn’t expecting you to be here,” they pull off their leather shoes and place them on the shoe rack by the door.
Stepping away to the kitchen, you pour two glasses of blood mulled wine for both of you before helping Ale shed their coat and pass them a glass.
“I wanted to be here when you got back from your trip. How was it by the way?”
With a sigh, Ale takes a long sip of their wine, nearly draining it. “Pieno di merda, everyone there. I don’t want to talk about that now though; are you burning candles?”
It doesn’t surprise you that Ale could smell the candles from here. You knew it wouldn’t take long for them to notice and connect the dots.
They lean down to kiss you again, longer this time and full of love. “Thank you,” is all they say before grabbing the bottle of wine from the kitchen and guiding you to the bathroom.
The tub is still steaming in the middle of the room, reflecting the light of the many candles on the floor. Smoke gives the dimly lit room a sweet-smelling haze that blends with the scent of Ale’s favorite bath oils. You quickly remove your clothes, then turn to Ale and gently take the wine from their grasp.
Slowly, you pull Ale’s clothes from their body and plant soft kisses on each inch of their skin until they’re bare before you. Your eyes sweep lovingly over their body, taking in soft curves and toned muscles, the cross tattooed just above their hip.
Warmth surrounds you both as you guide Ale to sit before you in the large tub, your legs on either side of their hips. From the shelf beside you, you grab a bottle of shampoo and begin washing Ale’s hair. Immediately, they melt into your touch, the tension falling from their shoulders as they release a long breath.
“I’m glad you’re here,” Ale murmurs, moaning slightly when your fingers scratch their scalp. “We’re both so busy, but moments like this mean everything to me.”
They don’t say it aloud, but you’ve learned to read between the lines with Ale. You mean everything to me. You can tell by the way their fingers draw small circles along your knee. The way their head falls back against your shoulder once you’ve rinsed their hair. The way their eyes shine in the candlelight as they look up at you.
With slow, intentional movements, Ale reaches up to trace the features of your face. Their breath cools the warm water left by their fingers over your eyes, your nose, your lips; before they gently take your chin to draw you into a kiss. One that speaks volumes of Ale’s loyalty without them having to say a word.
